PUISI TAUBAT DI BULAN RAMADHAN

Dulu tidak serajin ini
Shalat lima waktu,
Mengaji tadarus,
Melengkapi dengan shalat sunah
Hingga berdzikir disela kesibukan
Dulu acuh tak acuh
Bermain sampai lelah
Tidur pulas hingga pagi
Meninggalkan serangkaian shalat
Hingga mengucap kata-kata tak pantas
Sekarang berbeda
Bulan ramadhan mendapat berkah
Telapak tangannya dicuci bersih

PUISI RAMADHAN SEDIH

Buku menangis
kala para pembaca
yang baru mencicipi sedikit ilmu
sudah merasa lebih pintar dari Tuhannya
Lalu berusaha merubah aturan pada kitab suci
dan mencoba membuat hukum sendiri
yang dirasanya lebih manusiawi
yang dianggapnya sesuai jaman kiwari
Padahal dia hanya berbekal sejimpit ilmu
tanpa bekal pengetahuan agama yang memadai
beraninya buat aturan sendiri
menganggap Tuhan hanya tahu masalalu
dan ayat-ayat sucinya tidak sesuai masakini.
Jadilah agama ditafsirkan sekehendak hati,
tanpa landasan yang jelas untuk dikaji,
malapetaka bagi seluruh negeri
bila ajaran mereka diikuti

Ya Allah Kau datanglah lagi Ramadhan buatku
Ketika kku masih saja tak mampu mensyukuri Ramadhan-Mu yang lalu
Hari-hari-Mu masih saja ku lalui
Tanpa isi
Tanpa makna
Tanpa syukur
Bahkan dengan sikap takabur
Kadang kami masih saja lupa bahwa Engkau penentu
Kadang kami masih merasa kebenaran itu hanya punyaku
Yang lain bukan makhluk-Mu
Yang lain bukan umat-Mu

Dalam doaku
Sering ku memaksa
Seolah ku yang lebih tahu dari-Mu Sang Maha Tahu
Doaku bukan harapan, tapi keharusan

Every day that we are alive,
We should be asking ourselves whether we,
Are we giving our best to each day,
This is something we may not all see.

See each day we are given is a gift,
And to waste it would be very wrong.
But our lives are just that,
Ours to do with and hope our life's long.

But that's just it, our lives may not be long,
And come to an end before we are ready.
Don't be that person, who regrets,
Live your life full and steady.

Close your eyes and go to sleep,
Knowing you've conquer your day.
You'll life will be very successful,
And you'll be happy to look back when you're gray.

We all have a comfort zone,
In which we all retreat.
When times get tough it's hard to not
Feel like you are beat.

So when you feel this time approaching,
And your comfort zones in view.
Stop and think about what you're feeling,
And see if what you're feeling is true.

It's good we all have a spot,
That makes us all feel good.
But sometimes we may use that spot,
When it's not necessary that we should.

So next time you feel the need,
To stay in your comfort zone.
See if all you really need,
Is some confidence of your own.

but don't give it up
throwing your towel in the ring
for things gone wrong, for words that sting
'cos there must be another way
you will see it in the light of another day
When everything seems sour, not in your favour
look around until you find better flavour
so, don't just give but live it up
pick up the pieces, be tough
grind your teeth and turn another cheek
don't give it up, that's exactly what they seek
It's too easy to walk away
quitter never wins so you should better stay
look challenges straight in the eye
don't say yet the last good-bye

Go ahead and quit, if you can't see it through.
But don't come crying to me, when quitting is all you do.

Those who start to quit, when things start getting tough.
Start to see quitting, as a way to get out of stuff.

They never stick things through, and can't complete a thing.
Is this the type of person, you see yourself being?

Quitters never win, no matter what you've heard.
Have you ever heard a quitter, that is picked to be referred?

Of course that would be silly, why would someone refer?
Someone who can't even accomplish, they are their own saboteurs.

Next time you want to quit, think who you want to be.
Quitters never win, I want more than this for thee.

I want to see success, surround you every day.
I want you to be happy, and want to scream hooray!

I want you in a job, that makes you're world so good.
I want the work you do, feel just like childhood.

But most of all I want, to see you see things through.
But not because you should, because you really want too.

And I realize you may be scared, that you can't see it through.
But I'm hear to tell you, you can, do anything you put your mind to.
