Universal Pictures has released the trailer for its forthcoming British crime, horror, thriller The Snowman, from director Tomas Alfredson and based on Jo Nesbo’s novel. Starring Michael Fassbender, Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Val Kilmer and J.K. Simmons, the film is slated to hit theaters 20 October 2017, just in time for Halloween
Detective Harry Hole (Michael Fassbender) investigates the disappearance of a woman whose pink scarf is found wrapped around an ominous-looking snowman.
When an elite crime squad’s lead detective (Fassbender) investigates the disappearance of a victim on the first snow of winter, he fears an elusive serial killer may be active again. With the help of a brilliant recruit (Ferguson), the cop must connect decades-old cold cases to the brutal new one if he hopes to outwit this unthinkable evil before the next snowfall.

The main plot is set in 2004, when Norwegiandetective, Harry Hole investigates a number of recent murders of women around Oslo. His experience of an earlier training course with the FBI leads him to search for links between the cases, and he finds two – each victim is a married mother and after each murder a snowman appears at the murder scene.
On looking back through previous cold cases, Hole comes to realise that he is on the case of Norway's first official serial killer, as he discovers more women who have disappeared and are believed to have been abducted or murdered in a similar way. Almost all of the victims vanished after the first snowfall of winter and a snowman is found near the scene, this fact having been ignored by the original investigators.

i rs trailer akan lebih menarik bile diedit x ikut turutan sgt..like make it look more like a puzzle..gittuw...so org akan lebih berminat nak tahu citer psl ape..

my personal csi/pscyhological profile of the serial killer..ahahahah based on what i have read kat google..
1- most likely the killer had an abusive/toxic relationship with his mother, sbb tu target victim die semua prempuan..
2- masa kecik..die xde kuasa or kekuatan nak lawan balik mak die..so hadap je penderaan semua..pendam2..& simpan all the hate..
3- as a boy/man semua ni is degrading to his manhood or dignity sbg sorg lelaki...
Wah menarik theory u. But this kind of thriller novel turn into movie, yg penting great cast. Michael Fassbender nih to me when he act tak bnyk expression. But there is something abt him tat is attractive. Sih Rebecca Ferguson nih makin laku. One movie after another, she is the new millenia actress. Btw ai suspect serial killer is Val Kilmer.

Dulu late 90s-2000 onwards memang banyak movie serial killer, psychological thriller. Most yg notable & till today if nonton balik memang best.
