The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at Sydney Airport for their Pacific tour that will begin on Tuesday and last for 2 weeks. However, before the 16 day tour begins, it is expected that they will have a quiet day at Admiralty House on Monday, where they will stay. The couple has no official duties on Monday to allow for some recuperation after their long-haul flight from the UK. The Duke and Duchess are in Australia for Sydney Invictus Games which will start on Saturday, but the Couple will also visit Melbourne, Dubbo and Fraser Island. The program of their busy tour will also focus on youth leadership, the environment and conservation.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced they are expecting a baby in the Spring. A statement from Kensington Palace said: "Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public." The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in Sydney for their first official tour. In addition to Australia, they will visit Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.

The Duke and Duchess took part in a youth advocate programme which aims to unite and inspire young people to be advocates for cohesion and inclusion in their communities. The Duke and Duchess also met with students as they discussed issues including social justice and youth empowerment. The Duke and Duchess concluded the day with calls on the Leader of the Opposition at Admiralty House, and the Prime Minister at Kirribilli House.

On October 20, Saturday, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex travelled by boat to attend the Invictus Games Sydney 2018 Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge on Cockatoo Island. In the evening, The Duke and Duchess attended a reception hosted by the NSW Premier, The Honourable Gladys Berejiklian MP, inside the Opera House. Afterwards, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Invictus Games Sydney 2018 Opening Ceremony and there, The Duke of Sussex gave a speech.

On the second day of their visit to Fiji, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the University of the South Pacific campus in Suva. The Duchess then visited Suva Market to met some of the female vendors who have become empowered through the project.

On the morning of October 25, The Duke and Duchess travelled to the city of Nadi in Western Fiji and there, they attended a special event at Nadi Airport. After an official welcoming ceremony, The Duke and Duchess unveiled a new statue commemorating Sergeant Talaiasi Labalaba, a British-Fijian soldier who lost his life in the 1972 Battle of Mirbat. The President of Fiji, and senior representatives from government and the Armed Forces also attended the event. The Duke and Duchess departed from Fiji at Nadi Airport and went to Tonga.

On October 25, 2018, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at Fua'amotu Airport in Tonga. The Duke and Duchess were welcomed by Princess Angelika Latufuipeka Tukuʻaho at the airport.

In the evening of October 25, 2018, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Consular House in central Nuku'alofa for a private audience with King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipauʻu. Afterwards, an official reception and state dinner were held with traditional Tongan entertainment.

On the second day of their visit to Tonga, on October 26, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the St George Building and met with the Prime Minister S. Akilisi Pohiva and members of the cabinet there. Afterwards, The Duke and Duchess attended an exhibition with The Princess Angelika at the Faonelua Centre, celebrating Tongan handicrafts and products, including traditional mats and 'tapa' cloth. The Duke and Duchess also met with local Tongan traders and craftsmen at the exhibition.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are back in Sydney, Australia. On October 26, 2018, The Duke and Duchess attended the Australian Geographic Society Awards which is an annual gathering of Australia's brightest and best in exploration, science and conservation. The Duke and Duchess presented youth awards to honour the highest achievements in conservation and adventure, and The Duke gave a speech. The 2018 Lifetime of Conservation Award has gone to Atticus Fleming.
