Debunking Myths About Water Purifiers
...Myth #1 Reverse Osmosis (RO) is the latest technology.
A number of people assume that RO is the best and the latest technology, and this causes them to opt for RO water purifiers. In India, there are 17 different kinds of water conditions and there is no one size-fits-all technology that can be adopted to purify water. Water quality differs not only between geographies but even within a given radius.

False! Some amounts of calcium, magnesium and salt are already present in water. It is often believed that all water purifiers drain away the minerals essential for one's body. An RO purifier must not be used if the TDS (total dissolved solids) of the water is below 200ppm. Using incorrect purification techniques like RO where the TDS is below 200ppm could result in the consumption of distilled water, which is detrimental to health. Thus it is of prime importance that you use the right technology for purification so that all the essential minerals present in the water are retained.
....Myth #3 Boiling water is enough.
This is one of the most common myths. The fact is that boiling water gets rid of water-borne bacteria and viruses but it has no effect on chlorine content and cysts, and it doesn't remove turbidity and organic and inorganic impurities either. Also, water needs to be boiled for a minimum of 20 minutes for it to effectively kill disease-causing micro-organisms. Secondly, most people are unaware that boiled water, when kept in an open container to cool down, is prone to re-contamination by certain bacteria.

Masih 3rd world lah tu, paip pulak kotor ... patutnya keseluruhan network tu bersih lah kan ... kat Usa nun, air paip pun rasa air mineral, aku siap tapau tuh bila gi rumah kawan aku kat New England nun, buat bekal di NYC  |

congratz pada cuckoo yang telah decide membuka KILANG pertama mereka di South East Asia , di Malaysia pula.
Nice to ponder, kenapa tak nak eksport terus produk dari kilang Korea ke Malaysia dan negara terdekat, sebab harga dan kos bahan mentah yang murah di sini dan mereka dapat jimat banyak dari segi cukai dan pengangkutan!

tapi ade cuckoo user bagitau aku yg satu mesen cuckoo tu pakai metal wehh bukan plastic ke ape ke metal!
karat siket dah setahun dia pakai minum.. mnum aor karat tak bahaya ke?

aku pakai cuckoo kt umah...dh 2 y pun..ok jer...sapa kata tank penyimpanan x de..ada la tp kecik cuma beberapa liter sahaja...coway ada design yg besar tank penyimpanan pun bnyk..
yg malam2 bunyi tu cuci tangki setiap pukut 3 pagi itu pun kalo ko set kalo x buat manual jer, x de le bunyi... cuckoo di service ikut pertukaran filter..filter 1 - 3 (lupa 3 @ 4). service pada aku ok jer...cuckoo air alkali..coway RO..
after 5y boleh renew utk installment semula atau x..kalo renew service n service tukar filter percuma .kalo x renew kene byr sama je mcm coway.
bab bayaran ,cuckoo buat potongan dr acc bank.

Sis pakai Delcol je, dah lebih sepuluh tahun,
maybe 12 tahun kut. Masa tu tak de lagi Cuckoo ke Coway ni. Bayar one-time je, sesekali panggil mereka tukar filter tu je. Masa zaman baru2 pasang tu family yg dtg rumah, ala2 nak tolong nak masak air, pelik kami hidup tanpa kettle.

kalau bayar dgn advance lebih murah lagi.
