Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki Staff
A bank, that the Korean government holds equity in, is on the verge of bankruptcy. The country is worried that they will soon face another financial criss similar to what happened in 1997. People in the Financial Services Commission struggle to prevent another similar incident.
Chae Yi-Hun (Ko Soo) is a chief in the Economic Policy Bureau at the Financial Services Commission. He does his best as an economic bureaucrat. His father is the best economist in South Korea, but Chae Yi-Hun hides the identity of his father.
Heo Jae (Lee Sung-Min) is the chairman of the Financial Services Commission. He is an ambitious man. He experienced the Korean Financial Crisis in 1997. At that time, he became disillusioned with the powerless Korean financial infrastructure. His objective is to improve the country's financial infrastructure at any cost.
Lee Hye-Joon (Shim Eun-Kyung) begins work at the International Finance Bureau of Ministry of Economy and Finance. During the Korean Financial Crisis, she was only an infant and her family struggled through that time. She dreams of owning a building.

I dah tengok 2 episode... nak tau best ke tak... not bad citer ni... cuma I tak suka watak Lee Sungmin... haaa... why watak dia jahat sangat...
I tak sempat nak binge watch... so memang akan tengok every week... |

Pada iols Go soo ni biasa je acting dia... I tengok 1 je film dia tu pun sebab nak tengok Han Hyojoo...
Actually nak tengok ahjussi Lee Sungmin sebab dah lama tak tengok citer dia... tapi antagonist pulak... aishhh... |

The lady has gone thru so much pain in her life, losing father , working hard to make her ends meet. etc.
mak cik dengan pak cik kaki hutang, etc.
wow i mean , yg bestnyer semua latar belakangkan sejarah hitam asian financial crises 1997.
dan sentiment bermula dari situ. Nak dibuka pasaran selua luasnya atau terkawal.
interesting. so sweet that guy masak makanan kat dia untuk hilangkan rasa bersalah sebabkan dia dok kat balai polis...
haha she forgets how to cry ...after dashing through so much pain...
touching scene actually.

Iols dah marathon 6 episod uols..
Lama x tgk drama yg kena perah otak..last masa tgk Aide S2..
Cerita ni ada vibe mcm Aide tapi berlatarbelakangkan financial industry..
Sakit hati pulak tgk Eugene Han ni..tapi English dia memang best..iols rasa memang he can speak English bkn mcm yg lain2 tu baca skrip je.. |

u know , ade sesiapa yg pernah merasai getir ASIAN FINANCIAL crisis akan teringat yang cara depa garapkan agensi kewangan antara bangsa yakni dalam drama ni dinamakan as BAHAMAS ( real event dulu IMF) versus institusi kewangan tempatan yang seolah olah sama dengan cara IMF handle negara yg hampir bancrupt.
ikut terma mereka or else...
if ikut segala prasyarat mereka, belum tentu selamat
so - Chae yg kene penjara tu - mewakili sistem konvensional
versus
FSC - HAe Jung ? yg jahat t yg berkomplot dengan BAHAMAS tu...
mewakili 'IMF"
dan episode seterusnya more interesting daripada trailers yg disiarkan.

I wish drama drama akasia tarafnya yg so cliche boleh ditukar kepada yg jenis luar kebiasaan
persoalannya kenapa drama AKASIA tahap macam gitu je ye?
i mean kalau tengok creativity Japan and korean daripada aspek plot, penceritaan ada yg lebih kurang taraf akasia aje tapi dalam bebanyak tu ada yg macamset set gini.
so ...?
apa pasal depa nyer writer boleh buat citer macam ni
adakah audience sana lebih more expose to ore complex plots atau konsep kewangan yg depa sendiri lebih well verse atau lebi dekat ada depa??

lagipun slot Akasia tu kan pukul 7.00 mlm, time org baru balik kerja..mostly depa prefer drama yg ringan2 je..
baru balik kerja kan..tak larat dah nak pikir benda yg berat2..
but then all the drama slots pun gitu..bukan slot Akasia je..
sebab stesen tv kita ikut kehendak majoriti audiences..
unless kalau kita start producing drama for global streaming mcm viu or Netflix..
those that are more suitable for global audiences..
i wish too someday kita akan produce drama2 mcm ni..
tgklah sekarang ni semua copy dari novel je..
novel pulak taraf sampah..
kdrama punya writer yg i tau dia ada team dia sendiri..bukan tulis sorang2..
so memang diorg buat research betul2 before producing any drama..
even yg adapt dari webtoon pun some are very good & ada pengisian..
