NudibranchNudibranch is a shell-less mollusk, also one of the favorite creatures of divers around the world. There are more than 3,000 species of nudis, and they are all hermaphrodites. While these colorful creatures can grow up to around 30 cm long, the smallest are less than 4 mm.Octopus WolfiThe Octopus wolfi is the world’s smallest known octopus. The octopus wolfi is characterized by a pattern formed by papillate fringes around the edges of its suckers. It makes our list for measuring around 2.5 cm in length and normally weighs less than 1g.Pygmy seahorseThe first pygmy seahorse known to science was Hippocampus bargibanti. They are found in Southeast Asia in the Coral Triangle area. They are some of the smallest seahorse species in the world, typically measuring less than 2 centimetres in height.
