Baiknya kerajaan Malaysia ni. Punya power buat pusat quarantine ni siap sediakan ruangan computer, tempat solat untuk bagi keselesaan mcm di rumah katanya. Boleh tengok video di bawah untuk melihat sendiri tempat quarantin yg kerajaan sediakan untuk imigran tanpa document ni.

Ismail Sabri: MAEPS now Covid-19 quarantine centre for undocumented migrants

PETALING JAYA: Undocumented migrants in immigration depots who tested positive for Covid-19 will placed at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) quarantine centre, says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
Ismail said that Malaysians who were previously quarantined at MAEPS were transferred to Hospital Sungai Buloh on Sunday (May 24).
MAEPS was initially tasked as a Low-Risk Patient Quarantine and Treatment Centre for Covid-19 cases.
“We will isolate them from the rest of their friends in the depot to ensure the virus doesn’t spread among other detainees, ” he said during his daily briefing on the conditional movement control order (MCO) on Monday (May 25).
Ismail also said that there is a need to segregate locals from undocumented migrants, adding that barbed wires had been placed around MAEPS.
“For Malaysians, we don’t have to use barbed wires because they don’t escape. The ones who try to escape are undocumented migrants and that is why we placed barbed wires there.
“Once they escape, it will be hard to track them down, because they have no documents and we don’t know their addresses and who are their relatives.”
MAEPS has the capacity to house 600 patients and is managed by the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma), Fire and Rescue Department, Civil Defence Force, Social Welfare Department and the Public Works Department.
Meanwhile, Ismail Sabri said Malaysians should not be worried of the drastic hike in Covid-19 figures at immigration depots.
“Malaysians should not be worried because they (migrants) are already confined in that depot area. So, chances for the virus to spread out of the depot is almost non-existent.”
Ismail also said detainees and depot staff would be screened, and those who were found positive would be sent straight to MAEPS.
He added that a total of 4,342 undocumented migrants, consisting of 1,654 at the Semenyih Immigration Depot, 1,334 at the Bukit Jalil immigration depot, and 1,358 at the Sepang immigration depot, would be undergoing Covid-19 screening.
“Those who are found negative will stay (at their respective depots). We will conduct second screenings then, and those who are found positive, will be sent straight to MAEPS, ” he added.

Daripada dibiarkan maeps ni kosong tak berpenghuni lebih baik letak PATI bercovid ni...senang nak monitor. Bila sembuh terus hantar ke.depoh tahanan semula...x boleh lari sbb maeps dah dikelilingi kawat besi.
Kalau tak buat gitu takkan nak rawat diorg dgn rakyat tempatan kat sg buloh. Cerah la.peluang nak lari. Satu masalah pulak nak cari nanti.

Rakyat tempatan yg pulang dari luar negara akan ditempatkan di hotel n perlu bayar 50% kos quarantin.
PUTRAJAYA: Beginning June 1, Malaysians returning to the country will need to pay 50% of the hotel charges for the mandatory 14-day quarantine.
Speaking at a press conference here today, Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the other half of the costs would be borne by the government, following a fixed ceiling cost of RM150 per day.
Permanent residents and foreigners meanwhile will be required to pay the hotel charges in full.
Ismail said the National Security Council (NSC) had also decided that Malaysians and foreigners alike would sign the agreement for payment before entering the country.
“A lot of non-Malaysians married to Malaysians did not want to pay. Now they will have to sign the agreement first,” he said.
He added that the Malaysian embassies overseas would issue the letter to be signed before the individuals concerned board their flights.
The immigration department meanwhile will notify all airlines to ensure that the letter has been signed.
As for those under the Malaysia My Second Home programme, he said they too would be allowed to enter the country.
“But it will not be automatic. They will have to apply. We will need to see which country they are coming from as some of them may be coming from high-risk countries.”
He said the final decision would lie with the health ministry, NSC and tourism ministry.
He said the NSC had also decided to allow movie, drama and advertising producers to resume business, but only after Hari Raya.
“They may be allowed at the end of June,” he added.
All producers and crew members are to follow strict standard operating procedures (SOP) such as maintaining a one-metre distance from each other.
Talent searches meanwhile are to be done online, and there should be not more than 20 people at any one shooting.
“They need to have someone to ensure that the SOPs are followed during production,” Ismail said, adding that buffets are also prohibited.
However, live performances are still forbidden.
When asked about companies barring their staff from working from home as nurseries are still closed, he said there had been no such instruction from the NSC.
At government departments, he said, 20% of staff are still working from home for this reason.
On reports that illegal immigrants from Myanmar had tested positive for Covid-19, he said they tested positive after arriving at their home country. He added that they had entered Malaysia before the movement control order was implemented on March 18.
He said the illegals at depots did not have the virus but would nonetheless need to wear face masks and gloves and to use hand sanitisers.
Visitors including NGOs such as the Red Crescent Society and Amnesty International are barred from depots.

maeps ni memang dari awal disediakan untuk jadi pusat kuarantin..
tapi korang yang acah-acah ummah kayangan mana nak duduk tempat low class ni sebab tu pilih duduk hotel..
dah ko pilih nak duduk tempat yang high class, bayar je la..
tak nak bayar, duduk je pusat kuarantin free yang gomen sediakan..
so dari pusat tu disediakan tanpa diguna, biar je la pendatang tu duduk sana..
kalau tak letak kat pusat tu nak letak dorang kat mana? rumah ko?
better la himpun dorang kat sana dari kat hospital..
kat sana dah tentu senang nak pantau dorang supaya tak lari..
kalau benci sangat kat gomen jangan sampai membodohkan minda tu..
ujung-ujung duduk jugak beranak pinak kat malaysia ni..

Asbab selama ni pegawai penguatkuasa tak buat kerja banteras pati dan makan rasuah, now rakyat nak kena tanggung kos makan, perubatan (termasuk kos untuk ujian c19), penempatan dan pencegahan (beli mask, glove, sanitizer) pati hangsuang tu semua baik di pusat tahanan mahupun di pusat kuarantin. Sedangkan duit yg diguna untuk tanggung mereka tu lebih afdhol diguna untuk keperluan asas dan perubatan rakyat sendiri dan untuk beli PPE bagi kegunaan frontliners

zaman 1957 dulu atuknenek pendatang mane ade tolong tanah melayu merdeka.. PM1 kumpul duit nk pegi London hanya org melayu yg tolong bergadai... pendatang ni buat muka kesian jer reti xnak balik negara asal nk tinggal Malaysia terus... PM1 bagi laa kebenaran tumpang...
