Severe flooding struck in Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province in Indonesia. According to Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Agency BNPB, heavy rainfall caused the south sumatra area to overflow on 27 May, flooding 4 villages where flood water reached up to 1.5 metres deep. Flooding also has affected almost 60,000 residents of Bandung Regency, West Java Province. Thousands of homes have been inundated.
