What is the time frame for "good afternoon"?

6 petang tu masih "good afternoon" atau dah jadi "good evening"?

setahu hamba yg bukan native speaker ni...since kat sana tu...
malam cam siang...siang cam malam...memang mengelirukan...
what I know...maybe org lain leh perbetulkan kalau salah...

rasanya, 6 ptg boleh jadi good afternoon or evening...according to the context or occasion when you are saying it...not so sure, tetapi yg quite clear to me...kalau you are starting a greeting at night you ucap Good Evening...you nak take leave..minta diri...you ucap Good Night...

...definition of afternoon itself is...the part of the day from noon until sunset...

...evening is defined as the time between sunset and bedtime...

..and yes...after midnight....kita kena menggunakan ucapan good morning...

good night tak boleh diucapkan pada waktu malam kan? sebelum masuk tidur jek boleh sebut kan?

....not really...like what seribulan has explained above...u can say good nite to someone as a form of goodbye greeting jugak...eg...good nite and goodbye...
