1001 books you must read before you die

interesting blog posting by "bibliobibuli" - perhaps arguably the best book blog in Malaysia about 1001 books you must read before you die...
you can check it out here:-
Interesting list...though as any list it is totally subjective and don't mean anything much at all...
ive heard most of the authors' names, read a small minority, own quite a lot of them and have never heard a few authors...
it's heavily english centric...not too many great books by non english except a minority..
see any of your favorites there??
i can't see any sophie fuc***g kinsella or Harold F*****g robbins there... or did i miss them in the list??

curious nk tahu knaper?
sbb rae mmg minat genre vampire nih....and my Tok Guru is Anne Rice, even though she's stopped writing about it now.....
but, still, my love would always fall on Bram Stoker's Dracula....the way that he writes it - it's intelligent you see. i forgot what's the technique's called - but it's one of it's earliest of its category.(correct me if im wrong though)
Dracula is written in a first person POV - by
1.Diary (mostly)
2. Manuscripts
3. Newspaper
4. Telegrams
5. Letters
6. one method i forgot it's name - but it records voice, forgot what that is! ish.......
not sure how many times i've read it coz it's THE book i'll look up if i'm bored....and That's plenty of my time
