Through 4 years of hard-training, Se7en is a multi-talented R&B artist and currently the most popular male solo artist in Korea. His outstanding vocal abilities, and of course his good looks, charismatic stage manners, and smooth choreography are needless to say of a professional level. Currently, he is the advertisement model for many TV commercials of major companies including Samsung, LG, Coca Cola, Lotte. In 2003, Se7en released his first album "JUST LISTEN" which swept away the "Best New Artist's Award" in all of the award ceremonies. Se7en's second album, which kicked off with a flamboyant showcase on July 7 2004 at 7:07 pm past 7 seconds reassured Se7en's position as the number one artist in Korea. With many fans in Korea, Se7en is YG's first singer to enter into the foreign markets. In 2005, February 23rd, he released his debut single album "Hikari" in Japan and has started his entertainment activities in Japan as an artist.
Se7en's showcase marking his first single release, gathered 4,000 Japanese fans which anticipated his success in Japan. Singer Seven Re-signs Contract with Agency



Singer Seven has re-signed a contract with his agency YG Entertainment, with time remaining on his current contract period. Seven announced that he will make a contract with his agent again on June 22 and will not receive any advance payment.

The net worth of Seven is estimated at more than five billion won and therefore, it would be natural for him to receive at least one billion won in earnest money. However, he decided not to take the money in consideration of his trust in YG Entertainment.

Seven's manager Lee Ji-woon said, "Despite his remaining contract term, Seven expressed his willingness to re-sign a contract immediately after singer Wheesung moved to another agency. Seeing company chief Yang Hyun-seok disappointed at Wheesung抯 departure, Seven made the proposal first."

With the new contract, Seven plans to produce four more recordings with the agency.

YG Entertainment head Yang Hyun-seok transferred part of his stake in the company to the singer's parents as a token of his gratitude.

Lee Ji-woon said, however, "It is too early to calculate the value of the share, since stocks are worthless until a company is listed. But if YG Entertainment goes public, the stake will be worth more than five billion won."

揧ang is working on establishing YG America, a U.S branch of the company, and Seven's plan to make inroads into the U.S is making progress swiftly. Seven has wrapped up his activities in Korea and will stay in the U.S for the time being," Lee added.

Korea抯 two top dance singers will face off on both domestic and overseas stages.
Rain and Se7en will each release their first feature album and fourth single album in
Japan on Sept. 13 before releasing their fourth feature albums at home in October.

Although the albums released in Japan by the two performers will not directly
