Sy guna pekej Streamyx RM99 sebulan utk cyber cafe...
Bulan ini ada 2 hari Line mmg tiada lansung!
Dan harini line slow slow slow....
Sebab mcm 2???
Kita sendiri boleh buat apa?
Ada org masalahnya sama sama?
Sy knl report ke tmnet, dan minta line baru ke?
Ada pekej lain, laju skit...?
Ddk kat Kelantan ni...

Tolong lah yang boleh... :tq:

hari tu aku dah sound sekali mamat technician TM streamyx nih..ade ke patut die suruh aku tukar modem kul 3pg gila ke ape..alasan die sbb aku pkai router modem yg autoconnect..die takde guideline utk problem dgn modem cam aku nye.."Skrg ni encik ada modem lain tak?Klu tak kita anta technician nanti utk check.."tanya technician...aku menjawab, "GILA KE APE PUKUL 3 PG NI NAK CARI MODEM..KORANG INGAT AKU NI BODOH SGT PASAL KOMPUTER"...tooot...tooot..tooot...

TMpoint takleh "go further" sebab jurisdiction diorang terhad.
aku cadangkan, call helpline diorang. ckp dgn bhgian teknikal.
Bgtau la, kontraktor tmnet yg pasang modem tu suruh call sebab dia dah buat semua cara tapi masih tak elok. :pmuka:

nak taknak, diorang kena la buat repot, buat investigation pasal kes tu.
kalo 48jam belom elok atau diorang takde call aku, aku call lagi.
bg rujukan nombo repot yg aku call memula tu.

Yg kena tunggu 48 jam tu la ( aku tunggu sehari suntuk x ada call pun, kata nk call)
yg buatkan aku call TMpoint bhgn technical. Aku call pagi pukul 9, pukul 4 ptg dah datang hantar Modem.

antar modem? aku takde la sampai camtu skali. aku punya kes, line drop/putus.
aku call dan diorang suh aku wat cam biasa la. nak tau error code bape la, suh off modem, cek kabel, etc.
aku kata aku ni ex-contractor streamyx, baru dia kata nak repot ke bhgian teknikal utk siasatan.

mmg diorang ada call esoknya. tapi line masih lagi teruk. dekat 3 minggu baru setel.
dah la bil streamyx kena bayar, bill tepon ke 1-300 pun kena bayar jugak.
hampeh betol.

Aku punya kes pulak Modem kena kilat, tapi dgn procedure biasa dia tu ;) ,
aku harap nombor 1300 tu percumala mcm Celcom & Digi careline.Tapi kalau x percuma pun takkan menghalang aku call sampai aku puas hati dgn jawapan diorag.

Thanks everybody.....

2 kali saya sudah tpon utk Streamyx Costumer Care... Dia mmg nak kita check kabel, telephone line, dan lagi2.. Dan dia kata sebab kita guna router (tak guna modem dia), jadi dia tak boleh tengok masalahnya apa2... Dia tak hantar orang technical.. TAK..

Munkin ada tikus makan wire keluar bangunan ini???
Ada juga line problem mcm tu...

((( Saya rindu rindunya ke rumah di Europe... Hehe broadband MEMANG laju dan molek!! Semua orang ada internet rumah...)))

the latest IP is already improved. IP 218 & 219 is more open and is easier for P2P user (such as Torrent, kazaa, limewire & eMule) to obtain download access from peer network. if u only use internet for browsing, normal IP is good enough.

Using the RM99/month service, everytime you connect, the ISP will assign you an IP address... 60.xxx, 218.xxx, 219.xxx etc. So it's been noticed that everytime most of us get the 218.xxx.xxx.xxx IP address, it's faster... downloads, page loads etc. There's a link in that thread to download the script to run to get that 218 IP.

What that script does is to connect and only if you get the 218 will it stay connected, otherwise it'll disco itself and try to reconnect. It IS, however, a hassle for a regular computer user if in the event you want to stop it... you'll actually have to do the 3-finger salute (CTRL+ALT+DEL) thing to kill that script.

What I'd suggest you try to do now is to manually connect to the net... after connecting, see what IP you're assigned. IF it's the 218.xxx.xxx.xxx IP, then see if it's actually faster than your regular 'slow' speed. If it is, then perhaps keeping that connection open 24/7 might be the easiest way to 'maintain' your faster available speed for your CC.

BTW, if you're not sure how to find out your IP, in WinXP, after connecting, right-click the network icon in your system tray (next to clock). It's the 2-pc icon. Then select OPEN NETWORK CONNECTIONS. When the window opens, just click once on your Streamyx connection icon, then look at the window's left panel at the bottom - DETAILS. It'll tell your IP address there.

Hari tu streamyx kat umah pun ada problem... Pad dail 100.. buat report... Sejam pastu orang TM call tgh cari umah Pad... Pantas giler... Kot ye pun nak call bior la masa kat opis lg... ni kat area umah dah... Buatnya takde org kat umah, naya je...

Tp, bagus la servis diorang.. cuma masalah sekarang komputer pulak bengong...

Sampai 1 hari aku tunggu... last2 aku cancel je sebab time tu line aku dah okey balik
Dan masalah tu datang dari dorang sendiri...

Tapi tak tau la pulak kalo sekarang ni service dorang dah ok

My line was good yesterday and today, so I will wait and see..
As I said my IP is 219..., and some of u say that 218 and 219 is same good..
If I get offline again, I'll contact TM service..

yg ada coverage Jaring broadband tu, tukar je lah....mmg takde prob...jarang ada problem la..sebab user pun ala2 ciput je kan...kalo takde..melalak melolongla dgn service streamyx hehehehehe....

my area pun sama dari pagi tadi tunggu masih x bleh connect, call cust serv. dia cakap skrg ni tgh upgrade ape ntah sampai 19hb sept ni... upgrade lagi? tp masih gak sama......... TT_TT
