DVD Not Readable

I have a DVD Camcorder (Sony) & alway burn into a blank DVD for filing. The problem is it's only readable on my PC but not on my standalone DVD/VCD player, so tak dapat tengok on TV.

Lagi satu, i gave a copy to a friend in Germany, tapi dia pun tak dapat play on her PC in Germany.

Does anyone know why? Ada banyak DVD format ker? How to make universal copies?

u burn capture video tu direct dari viewcam ke dvdr? rasanya u kena convert dulu jadi video file, atleast mpeg1 atau mpeg2. kalo ada masa, convert la jadi vcd or dvd format. baru boleh play guna standalone player.

i "burn" from the mini dvd-r using sonic or nero, not direct from the camcorder.

how do i convert to vcd or dvd? can i do it on my PC? apa prosesnya? do i need a software to do that?

do u mean u burn the video as raw data?

u can use nero vcd or dvd maker. this program can convert the video to fit the format as vcd or dvd.
(dvd maker only on certain nero such as nero 7, the wizard are very easy to use)

there are few tips and guides to have the video converted to fit the size of 1 cdr=700MB as VCD,
or making dvd media file (*.IFO & *.VOB) and fit in 1 dvdr5 (4.7GB) or dvdr9 (8.4GB).
