i've read all 3 books by cecelia ahern, ps i love u sedih... i love the most is "if you could see me now". touching.. n taught u about the value of imagination... read it twice.. n plan to read it again...

she's a very talented writer...

Cecilia Ahern is amazing! I menangis baca buku P.S I love you. She wrote so beautifully. Her way of unfolding the story is so painfully real you can feel the emotion of the character.

Have never read Rossi Dunne though.

Holly and Gerry met through mutual friends while still in junior high school. They became sweethearts as both recognized that they had met their soul mate. Eventually they married.Starting as a joke,  Gerry promised Holly that if he ever left her, he would leave her with a list in order to make it through the day in one piece. Two months later Gerry is dead. At the age of 30, Gerry is diagnosed with a brain tumor.

A few months after Gerry's death, Holly remains grieving and unable to leave her home untill one day she emerges from her house to retrieve a mysterious package.  When she opens it up, she finds that Gerry was true to his word. He's left her "The List", a letter for each of the ten months following his death, each signed, "PS, I love you." The letters instruct Holly to perform a series of unexpected tasks to help regain her equilibrium because he loved her so much he wanted her to live.

Holly is a fantastic protagonist who begins to mend through the solace provided by Gerry. Her weird family and her best friends provide sympathy, but cannot help her overcome her dread of life without Gerry. The hero is incredible as he knew when he would die and planned accordingly for what he could do to get his cherished Holly out of her depression and mourning and into the light of life.

To me, PS I Love You is a tender, funny, unexpectedly romantic novel that readers will treasure in their hearts and minds long after the story ends.

After reading 'P.S. I love you' non-stop for a whole day I couldn't wait to read this book.

Rosie Dunne is the story of best friends Rosie Dunne (aka Buttercup) and Alex Stewart (aka Moonbeam). The two are thrown together in a Dublin primary school and become best buddies. We first meet them as they are passing notes back in forth in class. Their friendship endures many trials and tribulations, with stumbling blocks which prevent them from ever becoming "lovers". Without spoiling any of the plot details, I'll say that the tale of their lives was touchingly told and completely heartwarming.

What kept this from being a five-star book for me was the format, which was all in the form of notes, letters, e-mails, and instant messages. For me, this format just didn't fully flesh out the characters as much as I would have liked. What was charming though, is the importance in the plot of misdirected mail, something all readers can relate to.

krufan, zorroe beli buku2 ni  sebab zorroe tengok krufan punye komen kat thread mane entah (thread ni ke? or somewhere else) ckp buku ps i love u tu best so zorroe beli.   memang best buku tu.

tapi rosie dunne tu a bit disappointed sbb byk sgt karangan dlm bentuk surat, email yg buat zorroe rase a bit bored.

anyway, thanks kerana rekomen zorroe bace buku ps i love u. and zorroe akan pegi cari If U Cd See Me Now pulak... alamak! dah addicted to Cecilia Ahern.
