windows media center ni sama dengan windows media center kat dalam vista tu ke

aku pernah gak pakai,
graphic card supposed, high, like vista..
actually, ianya mcm xp gak,
tp more concentrate on media purpose..
media in vista, perhaps media center touched up, .:re:

i tried, ok jer..it is xp..
special softwares pun ada..created for win media platform..
add, hardware configuration..remote controller, astro, etc.

boleh guna AV for non-wmc. wmc ni sama dengan os xp/vista yang user selalu guna. bezanya, it's build more for multimedia. that way you don't have to buy or install third party software to enable your computer to be multimedia center, especially if you want it to be your main media center source, and connect it to your entertainment center (such as tv, stereo system, etc.).

Meha nak tanya sekali lagi waktu buka windows dia masih sama jugak ke macam ada start menu semua tu lagi sebab sebenarnya pak cik meha ada beli satu laptop acer ni tapi dia tak dapat yang vista dia dapat WMC jadi dia ada tanya kalau WMC ni boleh guna office tak atau dia tak support sebabkan OS ni lebih kepada Media.

boleh, semua boleh. semua ada, just like regular version. media center ni, actually macam add-on for xp. they sell xp version of media center separate than regular version. in vista, i think it's part of vista. just treat it like regular os. i have one laptop with xp media center, and it's basically the same as regular os. it's between home edition and pro. and yes, you can install office or any software that you install on xp pro or xp home (as long as they are compatible with both or either one).

geexbox aku try takde PVR function cam WMC bro!.. support untuk TV, DVB & digital video playback jaa.. tapi yang best geexbox guna mplayer nyer plugins kalau disable post-processing, pentium 233MHz with 8MB ATI RAGE main divx smooth jer..

apa requirement paling minimum sekali bagi geexbox ni bunyinya macam syok je dan driver untuk geexbox ni berasaskan linux ke kalau linux susah la nak cari driver

So, here's what can be considered as a typical / minimal config :
* x86 Pentium-Class CPU or above (P2-400 should be quite enough) or Macintosh NewWorld G3 (G4 highly recommended)
* a VESA 2.0 compliant graphics card (for x86 PC only).
* an ALSA compatible sound card.
* at least 64 MB of RAM
* CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
* Motherboard which supports booting on CD-ROM (should be ok for everyone ;-)
* Keyboard, Joystick or Remote Controller, using a Lirc-compatible IR (InfraRed) receiver (check http://www.lirc.org to build yours), e.g. Miro PcTV's one or ATI Remote Wonder.

boot dari livecd pastu dia akan install system dia dlm RAM (8MB only) pastu CD akan eject dan kite bole pakai CDROM utm play dvd ker vcd bukan macam live cd lain kiter tak bole pakai CDROM tu

hardware n driver dia akan autodect ler
kalau hardware yg paling latest tu maybe driver dia takder
tapi ko jgn salahkan linux manufacturer yg tak kuarkan driver tu utk linux
biase dalam 3-6 bulan kuar driver tu rajin2 carik kat google
