winword shortcut tak tunjuk lagi....

Sapa-sapa tahu nak kembalikan icon winword yang dah hilang....

bukannya spt di win explorer tools -> folder option -> files type...
saya dah cuba x mau gak tukar...

Maksud ko icon shortcut ke program Word tu dah hilang? Icon tu kat mana in the first place? Desktop?

bukan icon word tapi icon .doc hanya display icon lain icon file....

in the first place komputer sudah infected dgn macro ke virus UPSI... lepas tu icon tu terus hilang...

virus/macro dah clear... tapi icon tu takde... lain-lain icon microsoft office ada spt ppt, xls, mdb...

Mungkin icon cache ko dah KO kot sebab lepas ko dah reset kat file type association tu masih tak work. Ni possible solution untuk ko:

1. Make sure ko boleh view hidden files.
2. Bukak My Computer and gi ke windows directory ko (biasanya c:\windows)
3. Cari "ShellIconCache".
4. Rename file tu ( "ShellIconCacheOld" ) .
5. Restart PC.

Tengok apa jadi. Good luck.

File tu hidden by default. Ni cara nak unhide file tu:

Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab.
Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck
the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.

Ko buat search kat pc ko... cari for "wordicon.exe". Tengok ada tak? Sepatutnya ada dalam c:\windows\installer\[xxxxxxx]\wordicon.exe.

OK, ko masuk registry, gi sini:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Word.Document.8\DefaultIcon
Tengok if dia sama tak ngan ini:

C:\WINDOWS\Installer\{91CA0409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9}\wordicon.exe,1

Yang {91CA0409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9} tu untuk Office2003. Mungkin lain kalau Office version lain. Kalau tak sama, ko letak yang kat mana wordicon.exe ko tu... make sure tambah ",1" tu kat ujung.

Ni last... kalau still takleh repair, aku suggest ko kena reinstall/repair Office.
