semalam Tun dah boleh jalan 50 meter.
semalam juga dgn penuh semangat dia lihat siaran langsung Angkasawan, idea dari beliau.
Insyallah he will have many many more happy years.
for some reason, i dun worry at all when Tun went for surgery, as he is always very focussed, a fighter and Malaysia still need him...to colour our political scenes . |

Dr. M to be discharged in a week's time
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 15 (Bernama) -- Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who is being treated at the National Heart Centre (IJN) after two operations, is expected to be discharged in a week's time.
According to his son Datuk Mokhzani, his father is impatient to return home because he misses his children, grandchildren and close friends.
"My father's condition is improving, his appetite is good and now he is able to communicate smoothly. However, his discharge depends on the doctors," he told reporters at IJN here Monday.
Dr Mahathir, who is receiving treatment after undergoing a coronary bypass operation on September 4 and a second operation on September 22 to clear an infection after surgery, celebrated Hari Raya with his wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, children and grandchildren at IJN.
He and his wife together with family members held a Raya gathering for IJN staff and other patients on the first day of Aidilfitri.
Mokhzani, who came with his wife Datin Mastisa Mohamad at 3.05pm, spent about an hour with his father.
"I brought along a blue baju Melayu for him so that we can see him in the festive spirit although he has to celebrate Aidilfitri this time at IJN," Mokhzani said.
"With the Raya clothes, he will look smart when close friends come to visit," he said.

It was actually a major blow that makes him what he is now. Apa-apa pun aku not surprise kalau Tun tak dapat bertahan lagi pasal aku dah nampak few kes macam ni. Mula-mula tu punyalah nazak, alih-alih boleh recover but than after few weeks & months meninggal.
Anyway aku panjatkan doa agar Tun terus sembuh dan bangun...dan Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri Tun. |

Dr M Asks For Jalan Petaling 'Tofu Fa'
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 16 (Bernama) -- Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad who is receiving treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN) here after undergoing a second coronary bypass operation last month, Tuesday asked for Jalan Petaling "Tofu Fa" to go with his afternoon tea.
"The "Tofu Fa" (soya bean curd) from Jalan Petaling has been my father's favourite since the 1970s as it has its own distinctive taste, so different from that of other places," his son Datuk Mukhriz told reporters when met at the IJN.
He said that Dr Mahathir's appetite had since improved and that he had eaten spaghetti and fruits during lunch time.
Mukhriz, who arrived at the IJN at 3.15pm, spent over three hours with his father and mother Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali.
"Tun also did some light exercises to strengthen the arm and chest muscles and walked a little to prepare for his discharge from IJN," he said, adding that the former prime minister continued to receive visits, bouquets and fruits from close friends.
On September 22, Dr Mahathir underwent wound debridement surgery at the IJN following his second coronary bypass operation at the institute on September 4.
He had undergone the first bypass operation in 1989 after a heart attack.
He is expected to be discharged from IJN in about a week.

walaupun dari segi tahun Tun umo 80 tahun, tp menurut dato' dr azhari taib, fizikal Tun mcm umo 68 tahun je, ini yg dia kata lepas bedah Tun kali pertama beberapa minggu lalu, so ader ke octogenarian lain yg boleh menyamai standard tu? ade yg umo 60an lg dah byk sakit sakit bagai, maybe selain Tun yg masih kuat dlm usia 80an ialah ungku aziz (85thn?) Yamtuan besar N9 Tuanku Jaafar, Yg Dipertua Sarawak Tun Abg Salahuddin, Sultan Perak (maybe 80), mrk semua nie masih sihat, jalan pun x yah tongkat... |

teringat pulak aku kat Tun Ghaffar Baba.
apa apa pun, moga beliau dicucuri rahmat . Al Fatihah , Amin. |

Tun Mahathir Cannot Wait To Go Home
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 17 (Bernama) -- Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's health has improved and he is all set to return home, said his daughter Datin Paduka Marina here today.
"After seven weeks at IJN, Tun really wants to go home as he misses the home environment," she said.
Marina said her father was doing light exercises, walking, reading and also watching television. "The light exercises are to strengthen his arm and chest muscles so that he can regain his energy after his discharge from the IJN."
Marina, who arrived at the IJN at 11.40am, spent about 90 minutes with Dr Mahathir. She had just returned from a three-day family vacation in Indonesia.
"I did not get to meet Tun until today. I really missed him," she told reporters.
Dr Mahathir had fried kueh teow for breakfast today. It was specially brought by a close friend all the way from Kampung Tok Senik, Langkawi.
"Dad really loved the fried kueh teow from Langkawi. I am not sure whether the fried kueh teow was brought here or the cook was brought here to prepare the dish," said Marina.
Dr Mahathir had a visit yesterday from National Space Agency (Angkasa) director-general Datuk Dr Mazlan Othman, who leaves for Russia tonight to welcome back to earth Malaysia's first astronaut Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor upon his return from the International Space Station (ISS).
"My father is happy and proud that the space programme he initiated has been successful. He has been following the developments but did not say what was discussed with Dr Mazlan," said Marina.
Dr Mahathir, 81, is under treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN) after having undergone a coronary bypass operation on Sept 4 and an operation on Sept 22 to clean the wound.
