Cara yg betul wat partition utk harddisk

A'kum pd foremer trubleshooting....klu sesape kt cni yg leh share cara nk wat partition yg betul untuk hard disk baru...leh tolong explain sket bile nk masukkan nombor utk setiap partition..cth: harddisk 80 GB nk partitionkan 20-20-40..lg satu klu buat pc custom..pastu tak nak pasang Drive Floppy A...xde problem ke..ke kene adjust kt BIOS..hope sape2 yg terer leh share..time kasih. |

ko dah pasanag kan hdd kat kan..
ko masuk
control panel --->administrative tools ---> computer mngt ---> storage ---> disk mngt
kat situ ko nampak la..ad hdd baru ko..cuma x d initialized lagi la..ko initialized dulu..then
bila dah initilaized, ko pilih la format..
ko nak 20-20-40 kan..
yg first ko pilih primary (eg: 20), then baru yg partition2 lain ko nak..jadikan 20, 40 tuh..just right click jer..

klu ko xde floppy A drive...ko Boot from CD-Rom...pastu masuk je Cd Win XP Bootable Disk..dari situ ko blh
format hardisk ko.... |

mcm ne nak dptkan software ni..bg komputer yg 1 hd je.mcm ne saparate kan..tak hilangkan fail yg dah sedia ade dlm backup kee..sy simpan semua fail dlm backup...E saya |

ko taip nama software n click search.pastu dia bg link n leh d/l.
kalo guna partiton magic x yah bekap data.dia buat partition tanpa menghilangkan data.

ada member aku ckp, kalau nak partition utk system disk (selalunya "C"), better letak sikit je, dlm 5 gig camtu, sebab nanti senang nak format kalau ade pape hal di kemudian hari...
pastu dia ckp kalau nak install sofware ke ape2, jgn install kat system...install kat drive lain mcm D atau E...so bila dah format system disk (C), tak la kena install balik sofware2 yg kat dlm program files....
aku nak tanya, ape pendapat korang mengenai teori ni?? |

biasanya kalau install software berasing dengan system,kalau kita format system dan install balik os tu nanti kemungkinan software kat dalam partition satu lagi tu tu takleh pakai balik sebab file dia kat registry tu dah takada tapi kalau nak software tu ada balik.Kena install semula la |

camana lak kalau pc yg dh lame guna tapi harddisk besar & sebelum ni mmg x penah buat partition, tetibe rase nak buat partition.. boleh ke guna partition magic...? x ilang ker data asal...? |

kena ingat 1 benda;
walau pun harddisk tu 80GB tapi tak sepenuh nya kita leh guna 80GB.
sekurang2nya 1 atau 2GB akan di reserve oleh sistem BIOS dan windows untuk swap, paging file, buffer dan apa2 ntah lagi.
Uleh itu, aku agak, partition tu akan ideal kalu buat camni :
drive C = 40GB (elok sistem folder ni besar.)
drive D = 19GB
drive E = 19GB

ini harddisk komputer anak buah aku. aku setkan 2 partition aje.
partition ke-3 (Un-allocated) dijadikan "buffer" dgn cara manual, aku guna partition magic.
cara ni walau tidak buffer 100%, atleast buleh backup RAM kalu tak cukup, so... pc ni amat jarang crash atau hang.
*specs pc : P4 2.4GHz (dah upgrade ke 2.66GHz), RAM512MB, grafik nvidia FX5700 128MB.

All modern hard disks contain an integrated cache, also often called a buffer. The purpose of this cache is not dissimilar to other caches used in the PC, even though it is not normally thought of as part of the regular PC cache hierarchy. Most modern hard disks have between 512 KiB and 2 MiB of internal cache memory, although some high-performance SCSI drives have as much as 16 MiB, more than many whole PCs have!
