Outlook 2003 POP3 error

Machine: SONY VAIO
OS:Ms Vista Business
Email service provider: webserver.com.my
Email boleh dibuka melalui browser tetapi outlook 2003 tak boleh log in to incoming mail server. Port settings dah diberi as provided by webserver.com tetapi masih tak boleh pull.
Error message:n "Outlook is unable to connect to your incoming (POP3) email server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or ISP'
Dah cuba reinstall microsoft office 2003 beberapa kali tapi tetap masalah sama.
Ada sesapa bleh tolong tak?  |

Dah check SMTP port configured at 587 not 25 (default setting).
Hmm.....kat mana puncanya ek? |

ko baca elok-elok apa yg aku tepek kat thread tu.
tmnet umumkan diorang block port 25.
aku assume sblum ni server email ko guna port 25 la kan?
so, ko kene hantar email kat hosting ko mintak diorg bukak port 587 atau apa2 port utk SMTP.
hosting aku buat port 27. skrg aku guna port 27 le. |

Aku mmg x guna port 25 tu.....instead aku guna port 587...serupa mcm pc2 lain. Tapi xde pulak masalah mcm ni.  |

kalau boleh pop from different pc with the same mail client setting, try turn off firewall on your vista, if haven't done so. another way is to try using different mail client, then go back to outlook. also, does smtp work? can you send email (even though pop doesn't work)?
keep in mind, checking email via browser is not the same as using pop3 - both use different protocol. so, if one works doesn't mean the other will too.
