so far, sume makanan kat sini mmg halal, walaupun mmg ada dijual disesetengah market `pork' ni, maklum la, philippines ramai kat sini, mana nak tahan x makan.. tapi still bleh jadi ragu2 nak makan bukan kat hotel jer, kat restoran2 biasa pun sbb majority staff nyer philippines yg bukan islam, mana kita tahu apa yg jadik kat dalam dapur, kan. mungkin gak depa bawak mknn sendiri, bawak pork, hangatkan plak kat microwave yg sama dia dok hangatkan pie/pastry ke haper... so... masak sendiri la gamaknyer....

dubai terkena tempias krisis ekonomi dan beribu tenaga kerja asing di hantar pulang. menurut kawan yang dah 6 tahun bekerja di sana, sektor pembinaan antara yang terjejas teruk. pekerja berdepan dengan pemberhentian dan pemotongan gaji sekurang-kurangnya 20%. sehingga ekonomi kembali pulih, dubai bukan lagi syurga bagi mereka yang ingin hidup senang.

lips kerja di dubai, construction firm, so far alhamdulillah, xde buang staff, xde potong gaji/elaun, belum dgr lagi la company xnak renew visa ...
harap2 xde la. mmg ada dgr2 byk company dah buang org, project stop especially civil la.
ada project yg put on hold jugak.. mmg kesian, dapat2 yg mmg truly 100% datang sini kerja sbb nak tanggung keluarga.

er.. beautiful but empty...

cantik pasal idea2 struktur building, island wat sendiri, hotel2 dll yg mmg x dpt compare dgn mane2 bandaraya kat dunia nie..

tp so empty cuz bg aku ler lg suke view2 alam semulajadi natural.. yup dubai is idea of the heaven but for me terlalu membazir,kemewahan melampau n taraf hidup yg x seimbang..

adakah org2 kebanyakan cam kite nie mampu utk memiliki segala2 kemewahan dunia nie?? jawapannye kalo ade duit semua jalan..

dream of heaven.. Dubai for me it is beautiful place but empty inside.. peace..

More heavy rainfall expected in UAE

Dubai: Heavy rainfall is expected for next week, with a possibility of precipitation levels nearing record highs, the duty officer at the meteorological office at Dubai International Airport said on Friday.

"There are good chances of heavy to very heavy rainfall from Sunday to Tuesday in the UAE, which is part of the weather conditions affecting the Gulf region," said weather forecaster S. K. Gupta.

"We might be issuing a public warning tomorrow (Saturday) so the authorities can prepare for water logging and flooding," he said.

Sunny spells are expected during the day on Friday and Saturday, with a chance of isolated thunder storms in the evening on both days.

Temperature in the next five days will remain pleasant, with highs of no more than 30 degrees Celsius and lows of 22 to 25 degrees Celsius.

Gupta cautioned residents against going out to sea, saying that while sea levels might remain at a pleasant level at some times of the day, they can rise significantly during stormy weather.

Humidity levels will depend on the weather conditions. During stable weather conditions, humidity will range between 30 per cent and 40 per cent, and shoot to 80 or 90 per cent in rainy conditions.

After Tuesday, the weather system is expected to weaken and move eastwards to Iran and Pakistan. Another Shamal spell is expected before hotter conditions set in.

Gupta said the conditions were not out of the ordinary and were part of the transition between winter and summer in the Gulf region.
