Help!! aku ade masalah dengan benda http://voldenuit.us.. it has been invading my browser/computer sejak beberapa bulan dulu.. it started bila satu masa tu aku nak tulis dekat tagboard kawan aku...lepas aku post tu dia suruh masukkan nama lagi sedangkan aku da masukkan nama, website dengan message. kadang2 bila dah taip message pun keluar lagi warning suruh masukkan nama.. it usually happens with cbox punya tagboard so i din really mind it much

then lepas tu it started to letak dirinya sendiri on any space i want to fill with an URL.. for example that day i wanted to leave a link at a friend's tagboard. but then she told me that instead of showing my add, it sait http://voldenuit.us

but when i used other browser [IE7 & Opera], takde pulak benda mcm tu keluar.. or maybe it did but tidak perasan.coz i mainly use mozilla firefox 3.. [because i like it so much la]

then recently i have been setting my Wordpress blog to a custom domain, it actually took over my whole blog! So I can't edit my blog at all or even access it so in the end I have to delete the whole thing!! On my domain the blog is installed on www.mydomainname.com/blog and i changed it to www.mydomainname.com. dalam tempoh 5 minit masih boleh akses lagi tapi selepas I left my lappy for a while tiba2 the whole address bertukar!! even my dashboard pun tak dapat access lagi and my blog add link reads http://voldenuit.us

so nak mintak tlg experts2 kat sini lah

soalan:

1. is this thing a worm/virus?

2. is it exclusive to mozilla firefox? kalau yes, how do i remove it??

rasa mcm menyusahkan because i like using FF. senang n not much hassle. but if mcm ni la i have to use opera permanently lah kan?

Bunyi macam ada virus. What AntiVirus software are you using? Kalau u're using AVG, uninstall that and install Avira AntiVir Personal (free):

Also download and install Spybot Search & Destroy (free):

Lepas install, restart PC in Safe Mode. Ni instructions camna nak get into Safe Mode (kalau ko tak tau):

Once dah start in Safe Mode, scan yr PC.

Post balik sini results of your actions. Semoga berjaya.

maybe u should check if u have installed anykind of toolbar?

scan yor pc before it evolve to other browser or worst; your whole system (who knows?)

gunakan spybot, search n destroy. a freeware.

i da try download spybot tu tapi xdapat install...asyik time out aje.. tensi!!

now owdi tukar to Opera but still takut benda yang sama evolve to iE dan Opera..

Install Spybot kena 'time out'? What do you mean by 'time out'?

Maybe try gini... start in Safe Mode and install then.
