mod, aku da post kat thread sal batery ngan dell tp xdek org reply pon..kalo nak move or nak buang ok jek lepas dapt jwapan..xtau nak post kat ner..

nak tanye sket..akunyer warenty ade lagi lam 100+ ari lagi...tp batery ade probs la.. die ckp..
my battery da reach it's useable life... so patut ker aku tuko yg baruu..??? or mmg kene tukar yg baruu..??

lagi satu, kalo aku kol dell support team suh dtg baiki, battery replacement ni termasuk lam waranty jgak ker..??
kalo aku gune windows pirate, waranty aku tu still ok lagi ker..??xpe ker gune pirate ni..

Aku tak pasti kalau bateri termasuk dalam warrantee. Aku suggest ko contact Dell and tanya diaorang.

Yup... kalau bateri dah reach it's useable life, memang kena tukar.

if i'm x mistekn, batery laptop jugak cover under warranty.

x cover seperti :
- Act of God (earthquake ke, banjir ke)
- dicurik ke, scrathes ke, kucing kencing ke
- kilat dgn burn mark
etc..

aku x leh dedah sume..nnt Michael Dell marah aku.

owh psl sfware XP yg ko install tu x kisah. ko install sbb tu laptop ko. Dell boleh layan kalau ko kol cust service tp hanya cover hardware. software ada tapi hanya software yg didatangkan dgn 1 pakej yg sama. dia takkan tolong la ko apa2 kalau in future ko ada masalah lptop tu (sfware).

tp smua bergantung pd cust service time tu. sometime dia akan layan ko tp dia akan ingat kan ko, itu pertama dan last dia tlg ko sbb windows tu pirate. pasni, dia x layan lg.

tp kalau nasib tak baik, dorg tak layan lagsung.

owh thanks la..aku ingt sbelom warentee ni abes..aku nak tuko bateri la..kalo x, xpasai 300++ melayang..aku usha mahal gak bateri ni..

if i'm not mistaken, actually, the battery is not included in the warranty. i've dealt with dell many times and that's what they told me. the battery has its own warranty. when you buy the laptop, the battery warranty is a year from the date you buy the laptop. so, if your laptop still less than a year old, you can get free replacement for the battery. over a year old, you need to buy it. i could be wrong; better call dell and check with them.

yah..this if what i miss. btot tu. hanya 1 thn sahaja replace. w/pun u xtnd many times for the warranty, tp btery 1 thn sj.

refer pada DELL battery recall tu, diorg tak kira bateri on warranty or not. tetap ganti 1 free.

that's for affected batteries only (defective or not). non-affected batteries bound to the stated warranty. check the battery model.

actually, battery recalls tu affected models. disregard units affected or not becoz dell takmau amik risiko.
kalo tak salah, tahun lepas ada lagi kes bateri recall.

correct. that's what i meant by defective or not. if the battery model is listed, you need to get replacement. otherwise, the battery is bound to 1 year warranty.
