2AM is a four-member boy band from Seoul, South Korea. The members are Jinwoon, Jokwon (the leader), Seulong, and Changmin. 2AM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member boy band One Day, the other being 2PM. They officially debuted on July 11, 2008 on KBS's Music Bank, performing the song "This Song" (이노래).

MEMBER'S PROFILE

Changmin

Full Name: Lee Changmin (이창민)
Birthdate: May 1, 1986 (1986-05-01) (age 23)
Education: Dong- Ah Instute of Media and Arts
Additional Notes: Changmin has finished his mandatory army service, the first person out of all the Korean idol groups.

He was also featured in Mario's digital single "Superman".

Seulong

Full Name: Im Seulong (임슬옹)
Birthdate: May 11, 1987 (1987-05-11) (age 22)
Education: Daejin University

Jokwon

Full Name: Jo Kwon (Korean: 조권)
Birthdate: August 28, 1989 (1989-08-28) (age 19)
Education: Kyung Hee University
Additional Notes: Jokwon trained for about 8 years under JYP before debuting after auditioning through the program "99%" in 2001. Jokwon has also featured on May Doni's debut single "Molla-ing" and Baek Ji Young's song "All Night Long" with the rest of 2AM.

Jinwoon

Full Name: Jung Jinwoon (Korean: 정진운)
Birthdate: May 2, 1991 (1991-05-02) (age 18)
Education: Baek-Am High School
Additional Notes: Jinwoon was also featured in 8eight's music video "Goodbye My Love".

Predebut

Along with the members of 2PM, 2AM appeared on the documentary Hot Blood, which documented their rigorous training program. Changmin was the only member of One Day to not appear in the documentary. He was serving in the military at that time. 2AM's leader, Jo Kwon, holds the record as the longest trainee in JYP Entertainment, having completed 2567 days of training.

Debut

2AM made their debut performance on KBS Music Bank performing "This Song," (이노래) which talks about a man who has nothing left to offer his love except for one song.
