Bolton vs Chelsea Player Ratings
Frank Lampard's hat-trick has certainly proved his critics wrong with his hat-trick to help Chelsea dominate Bolton 5-1 at the Reebok Stadium.

Bolton
Adam Bogdan - 3
Given his chance to shine in place of the injured Jussi Jaaskelainen but didn't make use of it. A nervy performance saw him gift Chelsea two goals in a matter of minutes.

Dedryck Boyata - 6
Scored Bolton's only goal and managed to keep track of the Chelsea players, which is something most of his teammates failed to do.

Gary Cahill - 5.5
Not the best performance from Cahill, but he wasn't helped but two hapless defenders by his side. At this rate, the interest from big clubs may just wane off.

Paul Robinson - 3.5
Robinson failed to pick up Sturridge on so many occasions that it seems as if his ex-teammate doesn't exist to him. Poor marking led to Chelsea's dominance in the first half.

Gretar Steinsson (Off 45') - 4
Extremely slow and poor marking led to Sturridge's early goal. Had trouble picking up Mata and Ramires' late runs into the box.

Darren Pratley - 4.5
Contributed his share with some crunching tackles and was booked early for it. He was too cautious after that to go into any challenge whole-heartedly.

Nigel Reo-Coker - 3
Allowed Chelsea too much space in the midfield by backing off whenever David Luiz or Ramires makes a run from deep midfield. Almost non-existent in the first half.

Martin Petrov - 6.5
His set pieces and crosses can trouble any team and Chelsea were his latest victims. Superb cross to set up Boyata's goal.

Ricardo Gardner (Off 73') - 5
Held his own in the Bolton midfield but could have done better tracking the movements of Frank Lampard.

David Ngog (Off 73') - 5.5
Did well playing deeper to get the ball but Ngog was poor going into the final third of the pitch. Had a few chances but wasn't a match for David Luiz and John Terry.

Kevin Davies - 5.5
Muted in the air by David Luiz and John Terry, Davies lacked the speed and guile to get the ball for Bolton up front.

Substitutes
Zat Knight (On 45') - 7
Came on and stabilized the Bolton back line with no-nonsense clearances and astute man-marking.
Chris Eagles (On 73') - 5.5
Came on and rattled the crossbar with a fierce shot.
Tuncay Sanli (On 73') - 5
Hardly had an impact on the game.

Chelsea
Petr Cech - 5.5
Hardly tested throughout the match but could have came out to claim Petrov's cross for Boyata's goal.

Jose Bosingwa (Off 52') - 6.5
Not as effective as his usual marauding self to keep Petrov quiet on his flank.

John Terry - 7
The Chelsea captain easily dominated Kevin Davies and David Ngog and kept Petr Cech as busy as an ice-cream seller in the North Pole.

David Luiz - 7
His roaming runs from deep were unmarked and easily an extra weapon for the Chelsea team. Involved in one of the Lampard goals, letting fly a fierce shot that Bogdan dropped.

Ashley Cole - 6.5
Did his part in offence and defence, dominating his left flank throughout. Cole's chemistry with Mata seems growing by the match.

Ramires (Off 56') - 6
Industrious runs from Ramires caught Bolton off-guard but he could have had a couple of goals to his name if not for some poor finishing.

Raul Meireles - 6.5
Easily controlled the tempo of the game with his passing from deeper in the midfield. Hardly gave the ball away throughout the match.

Frank Lampard - 9
The much-maligned midfielder hit back at his critics on the pitch with a hat-trick. Excellent awareness in the penalty box to score all three goals.

Juan Mata (Off 72') - 6
A rather quiet afternoon for Mata on the flanks, but he didn't do much wrong either. Showed that he is becoming more and more integrated into the club.

Didier Drogba - 6.5
Not as sharp as he would like to be. Held the ball up well but if it was the old Drogba, he would have made the lax defence pay, but did well to set up for his teammates instead.

Daniel Sturridge - 8.5
Respectfully refrained from celebrating his goals against his old teammates. Set up a goal and scored two, tormenting the Bolton defence at will. AVB will be glad to have a striker of his caliber at his disposal.

Substitutes:
Branislav Ivanovic (On 52') - 6
A goal-line clearance justified his substitution. Brought more stability in marking Petrov down.
John Obi Mikel (On 56') - 6
Brought on to add more bite to the midfield and did just that.
Nicolas Anelka (On 72') - N/A

Chelsea vs Everton Player Ratings
Chelsea eased to a 3-1 Barclays Premier League victory over Everton thanks to goals from Daniel Sturridge, John Terry and Ramires
.

Chelsea
Cech - 6.5
Overcame an early blip when he spilled a Saha shot to help Chelsea to a 3-1 win.

Bosingwa - 7
Some excellent runs and crosses down the right flank. The Portuguese continues to impress under new manager Andre Villas-Boas.

Ivanovic - 6.5
Did enough to justify his starting spot ahead of Luiz.

Terry - 7.5
Did well against Saha's strength and he took his goal really well too.

Cole - 7.5
Barca apparently want him and it's not hard to see why. It was a great cross to set up Sturridge for Chelsea's opening goal.

Ramires (Off 65') - 7
Another Chelsea player who is enjoying his time under Andre Villas-Boas. He was replaced by Malouda because of an injury but not before he scored Chelsea's third goal.

Mikel (Off 76') - 6
Aside from a few tasty challenges - namely on Fellaini - Mikel rarely got out of second gear against Everton.

Lampard - 7
No hat-trick for Lampard this time round but nevertheless it was a solid performance from the midfielder.

Sturridge - 8
Scored his third goal in two games for Chelsea to cap a lively display. How Bolton manager Owen Coyle must be wishing he could've persuaded Chelsea to let them re-loan the striker.

Drogba - 7
The Ivorian put Mata through to set up Chelsea's third goal.

Mata (Off 77') - 7.5
His ability to up the tempo of Chelsea's attack made him the catalyst for the 3-1 win over Everton.

Subs
Oriol Romeu (On 76') - N/A
Nicolas Anelka (On 77') - N/A
Came on for the excellent Mata.
Malouda (On 65') - 6
Came on for the injured Ramires.

Everton
Howard - 6
Really should have done better on Chelsea's second goal scored by Terry. Howard was too slow to react and Terry did not need a second invitation.

Hibbert - 5.5
The right-back looked out of his depth at times against the likes of Mata.

Jagielka - 6
Dealt with Drogba well enough but Everton's defending as a team was pretty shambolic.

Distin - 6
Got beaten for pace a couple of times which was unlike him because he usually reads the game so well.

Baines - 8
Easily Everton's best player. Strong in the tackle and in defence, he also caused Chelsea more than their fair share of problems when he bombed forward.

Osman - 6
You'd give him an 'A' for effort but his execution left something to be desired for.

Rodwell - 6.5
He never really got going and failed to impose himself in the middle of the park against Chelsea. Perhaps he was fearful of another red card?

Fellaini - 5.5
His defending on Terry for the second Chelsea goal was woeful.

Coleman (Off 61') - 6
Lacked confidence and conviction in his play.

Cahill (Off 72') - 6
Always a hand full to mark in the penalty area but he faded badly as Everton slumped to a 3-1 defeat.

Saha (Off 81') - 6
Tested Terry in the opening exchanges but perhaps a lack of match practice limited his influence on the outcome as the game wore on.

Subs
Neville (On 72') - 5.5
He's really struggling to win back form - his finest moment in the match came when he wrestled with Lampard but even then the Chelsea man got the better of him by throwing him to the ground.

Drenthe (On 61') - 6
Came on a delivered the quality cross for Velios to score.

Apostolos Vellios (On 81') - 7
Scored 18 seconds after he came on. Keep your eye out for this Greek striker, all indications from those in the know about Everton say this youngster is a very promising prospect.

Chelsea vs Genk Player Ratings
Chelsea were at their unstoppable best on Wednesday night as they hit five goals past a hapless Genk outfit.

Here, ESPNSTAR.com takes a look at the movers and the shakers from Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea

Petr Cech - 7
Considering Chelsea's dominance, the Czech keeper really didn't have much to do, although he was sharp on the rare occasion he was called into action in the first-half when he intercepted a Kevin De Bruyne cross, which could otherwise have resulted in a Genk opening.

Jose Bosingwa (off 78') - 7
A fairly lively display from the Portuguese right-back, who bombed forward with regularity.

Branislav Ivanovic - 7.5
Another imposing performance from the Serbian centre-back who surely must now be regarded as one of Chelsea's most important players. Never looked like getting beaten at the back, and weighed in with a goal at the other end.

David Luiz - 7
You certainly can't fault Luiz's endeavour, and the lad does have plenty of skill. However, he has to learn when to go in for challenges, and when to back off. Would have been exposed by more experienced opposition.

Ashley Cole (off 46') - 7
Showed a couple of nice touches, and didn't look afraid to bully his opposite number. Was tested on a couple of occasions by Thomas Buffel, but held the Genk right-winger at bay.

Oriol Romeu - 8.5
An absolutely delightful display by the former Barcelona man, who showed no signs of being overawed on his Champions League debut. Neat in possession, and surprisingly skillful on the dribble, the future looks bright for Romeu.

Raul Meireles - 8.5
Many may have credited the arrival of Juan Mata as the reason behind Fernando Torres' return to form, but the Chelsea striker looks equally pleased playing ahead of Meireles, who played a brilliant through pass for the opening goal.
Also added one of his own with a blistering effort, and already looks like a good piece of business from Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas.

Frank Lampard (off 68') - 8
Showed this old dog still has plenty of life in his legs. Lampard sprayed passes all over the park with ease, and was at the centre of everything good for Chelsea.

Nicolas Anelka - 7.5
Didn't get amongst the scorers, but Anelka tore the Genk defence to shreds with his movement and skill. Still has plenty to offer, and we may yet see Chelsea offer him a contract extension by the end of the season.

Florent Malouda - 7
Whipped in a brilliant cross for Ivanovic to nod home, but Malouda was surprisingly quiet in open play.

Fernando Torres - 9.5
Make no mistake about it, "El Nino" is well and truly back to his best. Two well-taken goals and a number of nice touches around the edge of the area, Premier League defences had better beware.

Subs
Paulo Ferreira (on 46') - 7.5
Surprisingly lively despite his sleepy demeanour. Could have been forgiven for enjoying a leisurely second-half stroll considering Chelsea were already four goals to the good, but the Portuguese full-back bombed forward with intent on many occasions.

Salomon Kalou (on 68') - 7
It's always considered a job well done when a substitute comes on to make an impact, and that was certainly the case for Kalou, who added a fifth for Chelsea, by timing his run to perfection to tuck home a loose ball following Torres' initial shot.

Alex (on 78') - N/A
Came on for the last twelve minutes with the game well and truly over.
