8 Kertas Siasatan Dibuka, 'Inspektor Shiela' Ditahan Kerja

KUALA LUMPUR – Sebanyak lapan kertas siasatan dibuka dan tindakan ditahan tugas dikenakan ke atas seorang pegawai polis wanita dikenali sebagai ‘Inspektor Sheila’.


Menteri Dalam Negeri, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail berkata, dua kertas siasatan telah dibuka oleh Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) di bawah Seksyen 506 dan Seksyen 186 Kanun Keseksaan, berhubung isu tersebut.


Kata beliau, dua kertas siasatan tersebut dilakukan oleh Jabatan Integriti dan Pematuhan Standard (JIPS) PDRM.

Selain itu, beliau berkata, enam lagi kertas siasatan turut dibuka melibatkan aspek tatatertib yang dilaksanakan oleh Unit Siasatan Jenayah Terkelas (USJT).


“Proses mendengar percakapan daripada pegawai terbabit telah dilakukan oleh PDRM pada 18 Jun lalu.


“Sehubungan itu, pegawai tersebut dikenakan tindakan ditahan kerja sejak minggu lepas,” katanya.


Beliau berkata demikian dalam sidang akhbar selepas majlis serah terima tugas dan pemakaian lencana Ketua Polis Negara serta Timbalan Ketua Polis Negara di Pusat Latihan Polis (Pulapol) Kuala Lumpur, hari ini.


Terdahulu, media melaporkan, seorang pegawai wanita telah didakwa dengan dua kes selepas videonya yang menghina anggota polis pangkat rendah tular di media sosial.


Kejadian tersebut didakwa berlaku di sebuah kawasan di sekitar Gombak.


Namun, tindakannya tidak berhenti di situ apabila satu lagi video yang menyaksikan pegawai tersebut memaki hamun seorang wanita di sebuah tapak pakir kereta, di Brickfields turut tular di media sosial. – CARI
