seperti biasa... PAP kembali berkuasa walaupon dapat tentangan hebat dari parti pembangkang.

tanjong pagar GRC pimpinan encik lee kuan yew - menang tanpa bertanding.

kawasan aljunied menjadi medan pertaruhan bagi parti pekerja yang berjaya menyingkirkan menteri ehwal luar negara dan pasukannya dari PAP.

kawasan yang dipegang lamanya oleh encik chiam see tong dari SPP menyaksikan isteri beliau lina chiam dari SPP yang bertanding namun kalah apabila PAP mampu menyaingi beliau dengan lebih beberapa ratus undian sahaja..

Parti pembangkang hanya menang 6 kerusi di parlimen dan akan menerima 3 lagi untuk NCMP (non - constituency member of parliament)

SMC - Single Member Constituency - bermakna, dalam SMC ini hanya ada 1 orang yang mewakili kawasan undi. 1 lawan 1

GRC - Group Representative Constituency - bermakna, dalam kumpulan ini perlu ada 1 kaum minoriti (Melayu, India atau Eurasian)

dalam GRC ada 4 atau 5 atau 6 orang mengikut kawasan masing masing..

ada buruk dan baiknya ttg GRC ini, its either u LOST as a team or U WIN as a team

baiknya plak.. kaum minoriti dapat represent its own races/cultures

    mmg kali ini GE kat singapore sengit.. coz isu seperti harga barang, harga rumah, terlalu banyak warga asing etc menjadi isu utama untuk GE kali ini... bab tuh ramai kata PAP susah nak dapat majoriti.. tapi dorang dah dapat pon .. cuma sekarang lanskap politik singapura dah bertukar... rakyat muda nih tak lagik mahu ikot cara LKY.. yerlah LKY nih dari zaman 60 - 80an..

untuk makluman anda. majoriti pemandu teksi nih dorang anti pap.. that y ... TV3 tuh buat sesusah jek interview pakcik drive teksi

sokongan orang melayu terhadap PAP masih lagik kuat... that y lah GRC ditubuhkan.. supaya dapat garnered undian dari orang melayu (kaum minoriti).. walaupon mandat yang telah diberikan oleh pengundi melayu nih menurun untuk GE kali ini.

SMC nih selalunya tidak ramai pengundi dalam kawasan itu.. paling banyak pon mungkin 30 ribu pengundi jekk..


kalau GRC selalunnya 100+ pengundi... coz ia kawasan lebih besar berbanding SMC....

dulu saya nyer kawasan Macpherson SMC mempunya berapa ribu pengundi jek.. 1 lawan 1, but now dah jadi GRC dengan kawasan undi Marine Parade.... 5 kerusi lawan 5 kerusi (pembangkang).....tak silap saya.. GRC saya mempunya 140++ pengundi...
