Gagal dipintas sistem pertahanan Israel, Iran sahkan guna ‘Fattah-1’

Iranian forces on Wednesday said that they used hypersonic missiles in overnight strikes against Israel. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that it fired a Fattah-1 'hypersonic' missile at Israel.
This was the first time that the Fatah missile was fired by Iran since the recent escalation.
In an official statement aired on television, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said, "The 11th wave of the proud Operation Honest Promise 3 using Fattah-1 missiles" had been carried out”.
As per reports, Fattah missile was first unveiled in 2023 and was named by Iran's Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps called Fattah-1 the 'Israel-Striker'. The missile is known for its high-speed, accuracy, and ability to change course mid-flight. Further, it is said to cross the Israel advanced missile defence systems making interception a big challenge, like Israel's Iron Dome and Arrow.
The missile is difficult to intercept due to its high speed. According to Iran watch, the Fattah-1 missile has a range of 1,400 kms and runs on solid fuel.
