Memory Operation Persecond Score Menurun..!!!!

salam semua..ada soalan harap otai2 kat sini leh jawab...sy guna laptop lenovo g475 amd e450 procesor..ram 2GB..sebelum ni check performance kat window experience index waktu 2GB memory operation persecond untuk ram score dia adalah 5.5.lepas sy upgrade ram tu ke 4GB, result memory operation persecond score dia menurun ke 5.4..bukan sepatutnya score dia menaik ke?untuk pengetahuan saya install window 7 Ultimate 32-bit di mana ram saya 4gb dibaca/installed hanya 3.49 GB oleh window....harap dpt beri jawapan sbb saya pun tk faham sgt pasal pc2 ni...tq

ni nak cuba jawab la ek.. xtau la betol ke idak..
rasanya.. speed ram yg diguna tu x sama.. 1 laju 1 slow... rasanya.. ni rasa jer la ek.. yg 2gb tu lg laju dr yg 4gb..
nak tau cuba check spec ram tu.. yg 2gb tu brp mhz, latency.. comparekan ngan 4gb punya brp..

yg kedua tu plak.. sbb win7 32bit jawapannya... windows kalo 32bit mmg xkan dpt utilize 4gb dan ke atas..

mungkin juga la...tp bukan saya tukar 4GB sekeping..sy tambah lagi sekeping 2GB...so ram yg lama tu ada lagi..plus yg baru ni...ada effect ker? ada idea?...

tq atas penejelasan..sy dah tukar slot tuk ram tu..ram lama g slot 2, ram baru gi slot 1 ,speed dia naik balik 5.5..hemmm..tak faham betul..klu cam tu sia2 jela saya gi beli sekeping lagi tu klu speed dia sama je..bagaimana lak dari segi penggunaan memory contohnya multitasking..ada kelbihan kan 4gb compare dengan 2gb?

shud get better performance bila guna 4gb vs 2gb.. cuma ada kalanya negligible.. bgantung pd apps..

score tu tak accurate sangat, btw kalau support dual channel sepatutnya score akan makin naik.

macam aku punya single channel dapat score 5.5, dual channel dapat score 5.9. DDR3 1066MHZ.

er kita tak sama spec, atas tu guna sebagai contoh jer. yang ram tu sama spec sama brand,

brand lain2 pun tak apa janji clock speed sama.

ada pakai 8 gb ram tapi takde lak tempat nak test........ windows server gamaknya..ts ni buek apo speed copet copet. la i5 bus jer dah 100 mhz.. lain la core 2 duo atau core i 7..

single channel jer ye.

maknanya salah satu ram yakni ram yang baru tu clockspeednya lagi rendah la.
2 ram yang berbeza clock speed akan ikut clockspeed yang lebih rendah jika diguna bersama.

sebab tu score jadi rendah sikit.

kalau dual channel walaupun salah satu ram lebih rendah clockspeednya , secara logik mesti score tetap lebih dari 4.5.

RAID 0 (block-level striping without parity or mirroring) has no (or zero) redundancy. It provides improved performance and additional storage but no fault tolerance. Hence simple stripe sets are normally referred to as RAID 0. Any drive failure destroys the array, and the likelihood of failure increases with more drives in the array (at a minimum, catastrophic data loss is almost twice as likely compared to single drives without RAID). A single drive failure destroys the entire array because when data is written to a RAID 0 volume, the data is broken into fragments called blocks. The number of blocks is dictated by the stripe size, which is a configuration parameter of the array. The blocks are written to their respective drives simultaneously on the same sector. This allows smaller sections of the entire chunk of data to be read off the drive in parallel, increasing bandwidth. RAID 0 does not implement error checking, so any error is uncorrectable. More drives in the array means higher bandwidth, but greater risk of data loss.
