Tadi bukak nst adala cerita ni..seorang artis umur 50 an kena tipu scammer ghana, katanya general army.

Artist loses RM10,500 to Ghana 'general'
KUALA LUMPUR: An artist living in Petaling Jaya lost RM10,500 after being scammed by a man claiming to be an army general from Africa who had allegedly found a bag bearing the victim’s particulars.                                                                                  
        The incident unfolded in early Oct when the 58-year-old artist received a call from the “general” said to be from Ghana.

        The “general” claimed to have recently arrested a thief there and recovered a bag of money with the artist’s name and contact number.

        The artist was told that he could have the bag of money returned to him if he was willing to foot the transportation and miscellaneous charges which amounted to US$650 (RM2,080).

        The artist fell for the scam and made a telegraphic transfer to an account provided by the ‘general’.   The victim was told that the bag could be collected from the United Nations warehouse in Kuala Lumpur.

        Several days after he made the transfer, the artist was informed by a “staff” of the UN that the bag had arrived safely in Kuala Lumpur but he had to pay an additional RM3,500 in fees.

        Besides that amount, the artist also paid RM2,500 in stamp duty and RM2,500 transportation charges. He became suspicious as the monies were all paid into a local bank account.

        The artist finally realised he had been duped when he was asked to go to Puchong to collect the bag but waited in vain as nobody turned up. He lodged a report at the Petaling Jaya police headquarters on Nov 1.

pada pirasat aku,  kalo x de ilang barang tiba2 ada orng ngaku jumpa barang peribadi segala, sengal la kalo percaya....

kau kalo kena samun beg, dalam tuh ada 3 ratus ringgit, then ada org call bagitahu ada jumpa beg tersebut tapi terpaksa kena bayar 500 sbgi kos penghantaran, sanggup tak bayar???

unless la beg kita jenama prada beli kat pavilion, bukan chow kit mari..
