Former Spice Girls Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell have had a war of words over the future of their band, leading to the two stars no longer being on talking terms.
The band was to come together for the last time for a world tour as well as for the release of an album, but Victoria, who has carved out a successful career as a fashion designer, is not interested, which has incensed Halliwell, reported Mirror online.
"Geri wants the girls to be back on the road as soon as they can. She's been trying to get in touch with Simon for the past few weeks but isn't getting anywhere.
"She and Victoria are no longer talking," said a source.
The band was planning to go ahead without Victoria, but their manager Simon Fuller thinks it would be a risky affair. "A tour without Victoria is a real risk. She may not do a load of the singing but she brings a lot more than people think to the table.
"On their reunion tour she brought Madonna's choreographer Jamie King on board and organised a lot of the outfits with Dolce and Gabbana.
"Simon regards the project as a real risk without VB and without him to mastermind the whole thing it's a tricky situation and probably won't happen," said the source.
The band had last performed during the closing ceremony of the London Olympics, 2012. Even then Victoria did not arrive with the band and rather choose to spend the night with her family.
I really really love Spice Girls but i dont think this reunion will be successfull, Victoria knew it so i think she doesnt want to take risk. Victoria is the most successfull member of SG privately or in terms of career. So, it is better for her to continue her career as a fashion designer rather than continue with the reunion idea.
hek eleh dah jadi mak budak (anak even dah meningkat remaja pun) pun nak sentap2 sampai tak mau bercakap...apa benda lah diorang nih....tu sebab laa group pompuan memang susah nak buat reunion....cer tengok group2 lelaki macam new kids on the block, take that, backstreet boys....elok je leh wat reunion setelah bertahun2 berhibernasi buat projek solo masing2.
kumpulan boyzone punya brotherhood lagi touching, masa stephen gately mati aritu ronan dan ahli2 lain siap tido dlm church kat sebelah keranda mayat stephen. korang mampoo ke SG?

dah nama pun pompuan...emo lebih...anyway dari dulu lg dh perasan SG ni anggota dia cm selfish skit...lebih pentingkan diri dari grup...kalau dah cm tu baik awal2 dulu jadi artis solo je...

aku pun perasan jugak sejak zaman keemasan dorang lagik...dorang ni memang nampak macam hippo sket...bila berdepan lights of the camera buat2 la macam mesra tapi hakikatnya belakang kamera masing2 dok wat hal masing2 kan
berbeza dgn kumpulan2 lelaki, bertahun2 berpecah/berhiatus pun masih akrab macam adik beradik sampai boleh buat reunion album, konsert dan siap tour sekalik. takde pun nak sentap2 bagai

setakat layan lagu bolehlah SG neh....tapi personally my respects goes to the BOY bands...yg friendship dorang teguh sejak zaman muda sampai dah kertu walaupun pernah berpecah atau berhiatus dan buat projek solo sendiri

victoria menyanyi setakat 2-3 baris je..buleh ah..sora oklah wp takdelah sedap sgt ..better dia tumpukan mende yg dia expert..fashion..tak payahlah wat reunion mengarut nih smer..haha

aku rasa teori ko ni tepat....tadi aku bukak arkib wikipedia, memang SG masih kekal sebagai best selling album girl group dlm dunia setakat ni...no other girl group ever topped them. mereka muncul pada ruang dan masa yg tepat
