books recommendation for a manager

Hi semua... i dont know if i am in the right place.. i need opinion from book lovers. Im planning to buy a book as a gift for my boss. She likes books. Maybe u all can help me choose a book that is motivational or inspiring but no couple love story u can tell me the title of the books you enjoy reading... give me the story and ur review on the books. If can books released in 2012 or latest, coz its easier to find. Anyway old books still welcome. Appreciate ur help. owh u can just give me any book even if the title says "working with stupid" for example. If its good i still buy for her. Thanks!

I hope this suggestion is not too late. I found that this list helps: 99 Best Business Books. I myself have read a few books from this list, but I am not in Business Management or Buss Admin. Just to feed my inquisitive mind.
at the moment my reading list for my own self improvement consists of 'Awaken the Giant Within' by Anthony Robbins, followed by '7 Habits of Highly Effective People' by Steven Covey. classics for self improvement books.

Thanks redsinner for the list. Its still not too late . will gift her by end of next month for now im still deciding which one to buy for her. I'll have a look at ur books suggestion. Thanks for sharing ;)
