After charming two nations – and millions of royal fans watching from afar, Prince George bid farewell to Australia and New Zealand as he boarded a plane destined for Britain with his mum and dad. Prince William said he wasn't looking forward to the long flight home with his son, who tended to be a bit "grumpy" on planes.

The wriggly nine-month-old looked a little disgruntled to be leaving, twisting round in Kate's arms as if he was taking one last look at Australia before the family waved goodbye and entered the plane.

Kate Middleton reveals her favourite photo of Prince George27 APRIL 2014 The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, has revealed which is her favourite photo of Prince George.

Among the scores of pictures taken of nine-month-old George throughout the family's royal tour of New Zealand and Australia, Kate revealed her favourite is of George cuddling up to her during his royal playdate at Government House in Wellington.

The adorable photo shows the third-in-line to the throne dressed in navy dungaree shorts from Rachel Riley and a white babygro, nuzzling into his mother's neck as he holds on tightly for a hug,
The picture was snapped by professional photographer and Wellington City councillor Simon Woolf.

All the pictures from Prince George's playdate in New Zealand

"She said it was just lovely and that it was her favourite photo of the tour,” said Simon, adding that he presented the couple with a black and white version of the picture at the end of their time in New Zealand.

"There was a bit of a plan for a [staged] family photo," he added. "But it fell to pieces because they allowed George to sleep for an extra half-hour."

Prince George was particularly taken by Kate's long hair

Having met the royal trio Simon described Prince William as being "a class act" and added that Kate "is every bit as wonderful as he is and she has such a wonderful heart."

The photographer also said that he plans on sending framed copies of the precious photo to Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth.

Prince George's playmates: young royals heirs destined for the throne
24 OCTOBER 2013  Prince George will have plenty of royal playmates to choose from, including the three other young male heirs destined for the throne.

From left to right: Prince Christian of Denmark, Prince Moulay Hassan of Morocco and Prince Hisahito of Japan

Newly christened George of Cambridge joins Prince Christian of Denmark, Prince Moulay Hassan of Morocco and Prince Hisahito of Japan as the world's youngest male heirs.

Some had hoped that William and Kate's child would be a girl, as it would be the first time a British heir's eldest child would inherit the throne regardless of its gender, but given that there are five young female heirs across Europe, Prince George is actually in the minority as a boy.

From left to right: Princess Leonor of Spain, Prince Cathatina-Amalia of the Netherlands, Princess Estelle of Sweden and Princess Ingrid of Norway

Princess Elisabeth of Belgium, 11, Princess Amalia of the Netherlands, nine, Princess Ingrid of Norway, nine, and seven-year-old Princess Leonor of Spain all share the same royal destiny; as does Princess Estelle of Sweden, one, who is the youngest of the group and will be closest in age to Prince George.

Prince George crowned best-dressed royal
23 JUNE 2014
Prince George may be only 11 months old, but the tiny tot has been crowned the most stylish royal.

The young prince fought off stiff competition from his mum, the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, and his great-grandmother, the Queen, to bag the top spot.

Prince George took the top spot with his cool, laidback style

The survey, commissioned, by junior fashion label My1stYears.com, asked more than 600 online shoppers who they thought was the best-dressed royal.

Prince George, who was recently photographed taking his first steps, topped the poll with more than a fifth (23 per cent) of the vote.

The third in line to the throne has already been identified as a trendsetter, with shoppers clambering to buy anything he is seen wearing.

One in five voters, 21 per cent, named his mum Kate as the most stylish, pushing her into the number two spot.

The Duchess of Cambridge came in a close second, while the Queen took third spot

Famed for her elegant and timeless style, the Queen came third in the poll with 18 per cent of the vote.

Princess Beatrice, meanwhile, took fourth place with 12 per cent, followed by Prince Harry with nine per cent.

The Countess of Wessex just missed out on a top five sport, scoring seven per cent of the vote.

In seventh and eighth places came Prince William and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, with four and three per cent respectively.

Rounding up the list in ninth and tenth were Princess Eugene and Zara.

One mum who took part in the survey said: “I absolutely adore Prince George’s style. It’s modern, yet traditional and stylish but not tacky.

“It’s only natural that some of Kate’s fashion sense is going rub off on George, what do you expect when your mum is an international style icon?”

Another woman added: “I think the Queen is the most fashionable royal. Her style may not be classed as modern but it has a dignified elegance to it.

“After all you wouldn’t want to see Her Majesty tottering around on a pair of Jimmy Choos and sporting a Prada handbag.

“What is nice about the Queen’s fashion is that she is not afraid to wear bright bold colours. Too often when women reach a certain age, they only seem to wear bland, washed out colours.”

A spokesperson for My1stYears.com commented: “We were all really surprised to see that Prince George came top of the poll.

“Just as we saw the ‘Kate effect’, we have witnessed in the last few months the ‘George effect’, where anything he is seen wearing sells out within hours.

“In fact we have seen a distinct spike in the sale of our products which are similar to the clothes he has been photographed in

22nd july ni besday prince george...dah sethn dah...sure sambut besar-besaran ni...

01 JULY 2014 In a few short weeks, Britain's favourite Little royal, Prince George, will celebrate his first birthday.

Like any other family, the Cambridges are expected to celebrate the momentous occasion with a party. The bash is expected will be a small affair, attended by just close family and friends of Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge, neé Kate Middleton.

The celebration in the midst of his loved ones will make George's special day markedly different from when his father turned one ,though. The second-in-line to the throne spent the day with his nanny given that his parents were in Canada on 21 June 1983.

As Prince Charlesand the late Princess Diana were overseas, they called their young son on the day to wish him a happy birthday.

In a BBC report on their day in Canada, it was revealed that they spoke to Barbara Barnes, William's nanny, but Prince Charles said they could only "hear a few squeaks" from William.

Victor Chapman, Prince Charles' press officer, said at the time: "They felt the trip is too short to take Prince William. They will be spending much of their time on the royal yacht Britannia and the seas can get pretty rough this time of the year."

He also added that Charles and Diana were very unhappy to be away for their first son's first birthday, but the pair made up for it on 10 July when they held a belated event at which all of the royal family were together to join in the festivities.

Described as an "affectionate, high-spirited child," William was raised as normally as possible by his parents, who often broke with tradition to ensure he enjoyed greater freedom growing up tan previous generations of the royal family.
Diana called her young son twice daily whenever she was away from him, and Earl Edward Spencer, Diana's father, said that William's parents were "quite potty" over him.

Kate and William are equally smitten with their first son, who was last spotted with his parents in Cirencester on Father's Day.

As the future King turns one, his big day is likely to be marked with a set of official photographs, as Kate, William, and their families gather to mark his milestone first year.

Kate's younger sister Pippa Middleton hinted at what Prince George could expect at his party on 22 July this year, if his parents follow her advice.

"Your one-year-old will feel most at ease with people they know well, so keep their first birthday party familiar and intimate," Pippa posted on The Party Times, the online magazine that promotes her parents' party planning business.
She added: "Usually, a small crowd consisting of close family and a few friends with babies of the same age is enough."

No matter what sort of party Kate and William host for George, his first birthday is likely to be very different from William's experience.

The Royals insist Prince George must be allowed to live as normal a life as possible.

Now he is at the centre of what threatens to be a legal battle over Royal privacy.

William and Kate have resorted to law to ward off Paparazzi. But one photographer they have named is refusing to back down.

ITV News Royal Correspondent Tim Ewart reports:

A freelance photographer accused by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge of harassing and following Prince George has denied the allegations.

It comes after lawyers for the Duke and Duchess accused two freelance photographers of following the royal baby and called on them to stop so he can lead "an ordinary life".

But lawyers acting on behalf of one of the photographers say the allegations of following or spying are totally without foundation.

As Prince William was handing out honours at Windsor Castle today, he sanctioned a strong worded statement about the harassment of his son by a photographer accused of placing him under surveillance and monitoring his daily routines.

Prince George has not been seen in public since leaving Australia with his parents at the end of their April tour. They insisted today he must be allowed to lead as ordinary a life as possible.

Solicitors for one of the photographers, Niraj Tanna, say allegations of "following or spying" are totally without foundation.

It's not known when George will next be seen in public. But the reality is that picture of him can be worth thousands of pounds and his privacy can never be guaranteed.

LONDON, July 22, 2014 (AFP) - Britain's Prince George was to celebrate his first birthday on Tuesday with a party fit for a future king as his parents thanked well-wishers the world over for their support.

Prince William and his wife Catherine were to throw a private bash at their Kensington Palace home in London to mark the occasion, with royalty and close friends in attendance.

To mark the prince's birthday they released two new photographs of the family, which show toddler George fascinated by butterflies at the Natural History Museum in the British capital.

In a short message accompanying the pictures, William and Kate thanked the public for their generosity towards the little prince over the last 12 months.

"We would like to take this opportunity on George's first birthday to thank everyone over the last year, wherever we have met them, both at home and overseas, for their warm and generous good wishes to George and our family," they said.

In one of the new pictures released for his birthday, George is looking at a blue morpho butterfly that has landed on the back of his father's right hand.

The youngster, sitting on a bench with his parents, appears about to pick up the insect.

In the other picture, William, Kate and their son are transfixed by something above their heads.

The photographer, John Stillwell, said George, who is third in line to the throne, was "very lively and very sure of himself and confident -- a very determined young boy".

The shots were taken a few weeks ago. George is pictured wearing a pair of dungaree shorts, over a polo neck t-shirt, shoes and socks.

Cherubic charmer
For the party, the London Evening Standard newspaper said Kate has baked George's cake herself.

"The family will mark the birthday privately at Kensington Palace with close family and friends," a royal spokeswoman told AFP.

Newspapers said great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II would join the party, though her husband Prince Philip is less likely to turn up as he has engagements to attend in Greenwich.

Meanwhile grandfather Prince Charles and his wife Camilla are in Scotland on their annual summer visit.

William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are determined to give George as much of a normal upbringing as they can, keeping him largely out of the spotlight.

But the cherubic royal has charmed onlookers during his few appearances in the public eye, particularly during the tour of Australia and New Zealand in April.

And his arrival on the scene has given the royal family a major feel-good factor boost.

"Prince George's outings are a reminder of what makes the monarchy so enduringly popular -- its humanity," said The Daily Telegraph newspaper.

"The lives of the royal family offer benchmarks to our own. They grow up along with us, experience joy, are touched by sorrow, and confirm that life is all the more pleasant when shared as part of the national community."

Silver crown
His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was born at 4:24pm (1524 GMT) at London's St. Mary's Hospital on July 22, 2013, weighing eight pounds and six ounces (3.8 kilogrammes).

William and Kate have been hands-on in bringing up their son, bathing him and putting the little prince to bed.

They have revealed that George was a loud baby and cried a lot in the early days because he was always hungry.

To celebrate George's milestone, the Royal Mint issued a silver £5 coin, called a crown, with a design last struck for Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953.

"The choice of a silver coin is significant as crossing the precious metal across a baby's palm is a way to wish them wealth and good health throughout their life, whilst the £5 coin is a favourite for royal celebrations," said Shane Bissett, the mint's director of commemorative coins.

Just 7,500 of the crowns were struck and they are now changing hands for more than 30 times the face value.

"They sold out very quick actually, in a matter of days," a Royal Mint spokeswoman told
