MUAR: A 66-year-old man was believed to have suffered a heart attack after he had sex with a woman at a budget hotel in Jalan Meriam here today. In the 10.20am incident, the man failed to regain consciousness in the hotel room.
According to sources, the bachelor who worked as a farmer was a regular patron of the budget hotel.
It is learnt that someone saw him enter the hotel room to meet a woman.
"However, about 20 minutes later, he was said to have lost consciousness after the sex act. The woman panicked and sought help," said the source adding that the victim was already pronounced dead when the ambulance arrived.
Meanwhile, Muar deputy district police chief Superintendent Sahadan Jaafar, when contacted, confirmed the incident.
"The victim was pronounced dead at the hotel and his body was sent to the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital for a post-mortem.
"reliminary investigations revealed that there was no foul play and the case has been classified as sudden death," Sahadan said.
