The Jonas Brothers are dunzo! We'd say, "Say it ain't so, Jo Bros!" -- but honestly we aren't 14-year-old girls, so we aren't really that broken up about it. The break-up news doesn't come as that much of a shock since the Jo Bros cancelled their 19-city tour in early October amid rumors of dissent among the band and of Joe's drug use. While they didn't officially announce that the group had disbanded at the time they cancelled the tour, the musical trio have just confirmed to People magazine that they have "unanimously" agreed to call it quits. "It's over for now," said the oldest Jonas, Kevin, 25. Despite the reports of 24-year-old Joe's substance abuse and of feuding, the brothers insist they are on good terms and are moving on to work on solo projects. The decision to part ways allegedly came after the youngest brother, Nick, 21, has major concerns about the upcoming tour, People reports. "I was feeling kind of trapped," who fronts the band Nick and The Administration. "I needed to share my heart with my brothers." As to whether or not the boys will ever be getting back together, "It's really hard to say 'forever,'" said Nick. But added added, "We're closing a chapter, for sure."
The Jersey-born boys formed their band in 2005 and gained teen dream notoriety with Disney Channel films like Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2.
