Yash Raj Films issued a statement today stating that Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji tied the knot in Italy at a small private ceremony.

Here is what the statement read - We are happy to announce that Mr. Aditya Chopra and Ms. Rani Mukerji got married last night on 21st April in Italy. The wedding was a very small intimate affair with very close family and friends.

Rani Mukerji too expressed her happiness by saying, "I would like to share the happiest day of my life with all my fans all over the world whose love and blessings have been part of my journey all these years. I know that all my well-wishers who have waited for this day will be really happy for me. It was a beautiful wedding in the Italian countryside with just a few of our close family and friends with us. The one person I missed terribly was Yash Uncle, but I know he was there with us in spirit and his love and blessings will always be with Adi and me. I have always believed in fairy-tales and with God’s grace my life has been exactly like one, and now as I enter the most important chapter of my life - the fairy-tale continues."

How did Katrina Kaif impress the Bang Bang team?



Katrina Kaif is seen here on the sets of her movie 'Bang Bang', in which she features opposite Hrithik Roshan. She was shooting with Hrithik for a romantic song at the Film City studio, which was made to appear like Shimla.

Apparently, Katrina has impressed one and all with her dedication towards work. Buzz is that she took everyone by surprise when she shot for 12 hours at a stretch. To add to it, Kat seems to have also rejected a body double so that she could perform all the action, herself.

Hrithik and Katrina's Bang Bang is a remake of the Tom Cruise-Cameron Diaz film Knight and Day. The stunts in the film were choreographed by Hollywood hotshot Andy Armstrong during the team's Abu Dhabi schedule.

Perhaps on a break of a few days, we saw Hrithik Roshan leave to Tampa Bay for the IIFA Awards 2014 ceremony.
