Aunsoft TransMXF Pro for Mac supports MXF to Premiere CS6.0.1

I am having the problem to import IMX50 MXF to Premiere Pro CS6.0.1. Audio plays, but no waveforms with any of the clips. Automatic peak file generation is ticked in preferences and all other files are generating AWF's no problem at all. It's just the MXF files that seem to be the problem. Thanks for the guys who provide ideas for me in the forum. I try this and that and here I would like to share my experience.

You know, MXF footage is not the native format for Adobe Premiere, The most common problem are no audio or audio out of sync. That's why I download the trial version of Aunsoft TransMXF Pro for Mac, which helps me import XDCam IMX50 MXF files into PPro CS6.0.1 with audio. I can view the clips with audio entirely in the preview. Lately, I learn that the program can automatically load audio counterparts when I load MXF file. After IMX50 MXF to PPro conversion, the output format with audio too. I accidentally click "edit" icon in the main interface and I find I can preview original file and output video simultaneously. Here initial editing, such as cropping, trimming and deinterlaing, are available. Adopting advanced audio/video synchronization technology, The Pro can guarantee perfect audio and video sync after editing and conversion.

Want to export separated audio tracks from MXF files? To be specific, if you want to preserve 2, 4, 8 or more audio channels, what can you do? Premiere always mixes down all audio channels to the channels 1 & 2, which means that only channels 1 & 2 have audio, the other are blank. As the only completely multichannel project solution, TransMXF Pro for Mac can easily convert IMX50 MXF to MOV, MP4 and MKV with original multi track. If I edit IMX50 MXF with FCP, I can directly choose multi-track ProRes ad output.

Below is a simple tutorial to convert IMX50 MXF files into PPro CS6.0.1 with audio. For Windows user, you can trun to TransMXF Pro.

Step1: Load MXF material to Aunsoft TransMXF Pro for Mac

Click "add video" or "add folder" to load multiple audio channels. You can also directly drag files to the program. The program supports batch conversion and allows you capture images.



Step2: select output format

Click "Format" drop-down list to locate all the profile; choose the "Adobe Premiere/Sony Vegas -> MOV (AVC) (*.wmv) ". This option offers video profile optimized for NLE editing. You can also choose WMV and MPE-2 or QuickTime MOV.



Step3: Set audio and video profile

You can click "Settings" to set up video size, frame rate, bitrates and other settings.

Step 4: Conversion

Click "Conversion" icon that the TransMXF Pro for Mac will convert IMX50 MXF files into Premiere CS6.0.1 with audio. With just a click on "Open output folder", you can locate the export MOV quickly.
