UMW Toyota has updated its prices with GST on its website. All models and variants see price reductions of between RM160 and RM4,900, except for the Toyota Vios – four out of five Vios variants are pricier after insurance (which is subject to its own 6% GST). The Vios J manual, E auto, G auto and TRD Sportivo are costlier by RM, RM, RM and RM respectively. Only the Vios J auto is cheaper, by RM. However, if we take insurance out of the picture, all Vios variants are very slightly cheaper.
