A new professional 4K camcorder-Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300 has come to us. With it, users can record up to 4K videos. However, I can’t successfully import the Panasonic FZ300 4K to FCP, Adobe Premiere, Avid MC or other NLEs for editing. I’m searching for a solid answer for the Panasonic FZ300 4K to FCP/ Premiere/Avid MC issues.
From the Panasonic DMC-FZ300 spec, I got to know it records 4K videos in MP4 wrapper. Generally, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer can’t support MP4 format well which is not an ideal format for editing. Plus, expect for Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro CC, the old version FCP 6/7, Premiere Pro CS4/CS5/CS6 can’t support 4K video. To edit FZ300 4K in FCP, Adobe Premiere, Avid MC flawlessly, an ultimate solution is to transcode/compress Panasonic FZ300 4K files for FCP, Premiere, Avid.
To achieve the goal, a professional 4K Video Converter is what you need. Featured with the most advanced converting technology, Acrok 4K Video Converter for Mac is the optimal choice for you.
