Thus I have heard

Once a person came to the Buddha and asked'what is your caste?'the Buddha answered to him'Don't ask caste ask my conduct'.

It means we should never asked anyone caste.

But usually we saw when a person met someone firstly ask his caste then he take sth.

I don't know whenever anyone ask somebody's caste at the time what he would feel.
