Pelancongan Murah : Bali vs Negara Negara Lain

Hairan juga berita ini...
Kenapa tak guna Indonesia
Tapi spesifik kepada Bali sahaja...
Walhal untuk yang lain, digunakan negara : Malaysia instead of Langkawi, Thailand instead of Phuket, Australia instead of Gold Coast...
New survey reveals cheap holiday destinations
When it comes to planning a holiday most people look at the ever-decreasing price of airfares when choosing a destination to visit.
But what about the cost once you get off the plane?
Foreign exchange service Travel Money NZ has released a list of the cheapest places to travel to, based on what you'll be buying day-to-day while on holiday.
South Africa, Thailand, Malaysia and Bali performed well in the survey in most categories.
A McDonald's burger and a coke in South Africa would cost you NZ$3.40 compared to $9.50 in New Zealand, and if an ice-cold Coke is what you are after, then Bali and Malaysia are the place to go --Coke is just 80 cents there.
Regional leader of Travel Money NZ, Scott McCullough, says more Kiwis should be doing their homework before they travel to make their dollar stretch as far as possible.
"Our research found wide variations in on-the-ground costs between popular holiday destinations that Kiwis travel to, showing that those people who are prepared to put in some ground work before they book and travel can make their dollar stretch further."
Comparing the cost of five night's accommodation, a meal out for two people, a beer each and a taxi to and from the airport shows just how different the cost of a holiday can be.
In the Gold Coast this will cost approximately NZ$1,370 excluding airfare. In Thailand the same will cost around $540.
Mr McCullough also said a common mistake made by many New Zealanders is ignoring exchange rate activity.
"If you look at the Aussie dollar for instance, in the last two months we've seen it move around 0.04 cents in the dollar. While that doesn't seem a lot, when you're looking at accommodation, airport transfers, and one meal out daily for two people costing $1,370 for five days that works out as a difference of approximately $55."
