Misil China Terbang Lebih 10,000 Kilometer Sejam, Sukar Dipintas

LONDON – Beberapa pegawai perisikan memberi amaran bahawa China mencapai kemajuan drastik dalam teknologi peluru berpandu hipersonik sehingga mampu mengelakkan senjata tersebut daripada dipintas.

Akhbar Daily Express melaporkan, peluru berpandu balistik DF-17 dan DF-27 milik China mencapai kelajuan 10,460 kilometer sejam.

Senjata itu menimbulkan ancaman besar kepada aset ketenteraan termasuk kapal perang utama Britain, HMS Queen Elizabeth dan HMS Prince of Wales.

Kebimbangan terhadap misil tergolong dalam kategori kenderaan luncur hipersonik (HGV) itu mendorong tindak balas segera daripada sekutu-sekutu Barat.

Britain, Australia dan Amerika Syarikat (AS) sebagai ahli perikatan tentera AUKUS kini berusaha merangka pelbagai langkah bagi menangani ancaman tersebut.

Lebih membimbangkan apabila HGV berupaya terbang pada trajektori lebih rendah daripada peluru berpandu balistik antara benua lain, menyebabkan ia sukar dipintas.

“China mengutamakan keupayaan ini dan membina senjata HGV terkemuka di dunia. Ia mencatat kemajuan dramatik dalam tahun 2020-an. Menangani ancaman ini menjadi keutamaan AUKUS,” kata mereka. – AGENSI
