Kereta xsalah i, i sewa dlm AUD300++ kot. Nak kena carik balik segala detail tp kat ofis, now cuti lagi. Tp i agak takut psl insurans sbb dia reduce up to AUD5500. So i amik additional insurance reduce to AUD500. So additional insurance i kena dlm AUD200++. Actually masa i book keta, dia ada tanya nak amik reduce insurance so i just clik and byr dlm Rm160 kot. Bila dpt polisi, pelik lak dr msia. Cover dlm rm4k. I call insurance tu and tanya, depa cakap mmg cover takat tu je, tp kena byr dulu claim later. So i agak takut n amik insurance yg reduce to aud500. So kalau kira2 blk mmg fully covered lah insurance i.
Bkn apa takut jd apa2 nanti jenuh nak byr. Tp alhamdulillah xjd apa.
I pun ada amik travel insurance dgn rhb bank. Utk satu famili i byr dlm rm90 kot. Takut jugak kot2 sakit kat sana. Nanti i sambung psl skrg book tiket nak tgk star wars dah byr tiba2 cc hang lak.

Our rates includes standard Loss or Damage Cover, unlimited klm, registration recovery fees. Petrol is the responsibility of the hirer. Our rates change occasionally however once you have booked your vehicle the rates on your booking are guaranteed.
LOSS OR DAMAGE COVER
STANDARD COVER
Standard Loss or Damage cover is included in our rates and subject to the conditions of the rental agreement. Standard Cover covers damage to the hired vehicle in the event of an accident with another vehicle. ( Multi Vehicle Accident ) Sufficient funds must be available on the cardholders credit card at the time of rental to cover the Damage Liability Fee.
LIABILITY REDUCTION WAIVER (LRW)
The Liability Reduction Waiver provides cover with a reduced Liability which covers loss or damage in the event of an accident with another vehicle ( Multi Vehicle Accident ) and Theft Protection. Single vehicle damage excluded.

Total I kena byr additional insurance $215.07 ( this include car seat yg depa charge $30 : $5/perday) I dok cari berapa I kena byr car rental tu, xjumpa lg. Lupa lah pulak. Tp mcm rasa u punya murah gak tp kena sure berapa reduce liability tu.

car rental I kena byr $361.92. Tp masa ni xde lg cover excess insurance . So if anything happen to the car, the first $5,500 is under tanggungjawab I lah. More than that, will be covered by insurance. Kalau below $5,500 still tanggungjawab I. Thats why I takut and amik additional insurance yg I rasa mmg mahal tp terpaksa amik mcm kat atas I cita tu. I byr $185.07 (figure atas tu mcm I cakap, car seat $30)
Masa mula2 I book keta I mmg dah click amik insurance, tp yg herannya insurance kat Msia, dgn Hong Leong MSIG Takaful. Yg ni I kena byr RM156 This certificate covers :

Excess AUD 5500.00
The car rental company will pre-authorise an additional AUD5500.00 on your credit card when you collect your vehicle. This will be automatically released if there is no theft or damage during the rental period. If there is damage to the rental vehicle, you will be liable for up to the first AUD5500.00 of costs and the standard vehicle insurance policy will cover the rest. For rental durations that exceed 10 days, the rental company will deduct the excess from your credit card instead of pre-authorise, as a pre-authorisation only lasts for a certain amount of time before expiring.
Extra insurance
Ask at desk You may be offered additional insurance at the car rental desk. This should be declined if you have already purchased the Allianz excess insurance through CarTrawler. You may be told that the Allianz cover is not valid - this is not the case so there is no need to purchase any additional insurance cover offered at the rental desk. However, the credit card holder will still be required to leave a security deposit with the car rental company.

Bila I copy paste mcm dah berkecamuk lak kat atas tu. Kalau u tak paham boleh pm I direct, bg no phone nanti I call and cita kat u. Kadang2 bila tulis ni payah sikit nak faham. Tp kalau u pm I bgtau sini nanti I tgk kat pm I. I amat jarang bukak pm ni.
Lupa nak bgtau. Masa I sampai kat air Coolangata tu ada booth jual sim card opus. $20 dpt 12G data and $10 call. Tp yg bestnya kalau kita call Msia is unlimited call. Ada a few country yg unlimited call. Adalah hubby call ofis and mak dia. Offer ni ada certain limit, sampai next year kot. Tp kami pun nak duduk 6 hari je, so kira okaylah pakej ni. Nak cari apartment senang sikit.
Car rental tu, dia dtg amik kami sefamily bwk kat ofis dia, which is 3km from airport. Settle suma benda, kami terus bwk keta.

Drive ke naik train dr GC ke Brisbane tu?
Kalau bajet sehari je tak bermalam maybe leh buat cmni -> sampai pagi2 pegi mt coottha -> CBD ->GC
Mt Cootha ada botanic garden.
ronda2 area Brisbane CBD, boleh naik cruise kat Brisbane river. naik yg free CAT tu.
Pegi Southbank, kat situ ada public pool utk kanak2 totally free. tp kalau dah budak2 jumpa air mmg lama la kan.
Kalau nak ke DFO tu agak jauh juga dari CBD.
Ni pengalaman i la,cuma i dr Brisbane ke GC dan hanya guna train. sempat la jalan2 GC dlm masa sehari. cuma tak pegi mana2 theme park.
So i supposed same goes kalau dari GC ke Brisbane

.. tapi this company offer 3 types of cover and si craig tuh recommended yang premium liability reduction nih.. so i amik yang ni lah kot.... or kena tambah insurance lain lagi?
