Oat Goodness
Oat bran and rolled oats contain comparable amounts of saturated fat, sodium, carbohydrates, protein and sugars, and nutrients such as calcium and iron. Oat bran contains significantly more fiber than rolled oats, providing 58 per cent of an adult's daily requirement in a 1-cup serving. A cup of cooked rolled oats contains 307 calories and 21 percent of an adult's daily protein requirement, while 1 cup of cooked oat bran provides 231 calories and 33 percent of the protein requirement. personally bagi kita takde la banyak beza... ni sama la macam, beza romaine lettuce dgn lettuce yg lain...yg paling tinggi kandungan nutrients adalah romaine lettuce kalau compare dgn lettuce yg lain mcm butterhead..
According to the the USDA National Nutrient Database, a leaf of romaine lettuce contains 871 International Units of Vitamin A, roughly 17 percent of the recommended daily value. By comparison, leaves of looseleaf and butterhead lettuce contained 741 and 248 IUs, respectively. Vitamin A is an essential vitamin used to promote vision health, bone growth, reproduction, cell division and a variety of respiratory, urinary and intestinal functions. Iceberg lettuce from the crisphead family contains the least vitamin A of the green lettuce types, coming in at 40 IUs per leaf.
