Ad Astra is an upcoming American epic science fiction thriller film directed by James Gray, and written by Gray and Ethan Gross.
The film will star Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Donald Sutherland and Jamie Kennedy.
Twenty years after his father left on a one-way mission to Neptune in order to find signs of extra-terrestrial intelligence, Roy McBride, an Army Corps engineer travels through the solar system to find him and understand why his mission failed.
Ad Astra is scheduled to release on May 24, 2019, by 20th Century Fox.

I x pnh ttido dlm panggung. Julung kalinye td ttido part ujung ujung .
Misi dia cr ayah dia yg dikatakan betray team dia. Tp bila dh jumpe, mcm ha?? Tu je explanation ayah dia? Xde apa yg mgejutkan.
Brad pnya struggle nk survive pn alahai simple sgt. Nmpak mudah je dia survive.
X mndebarkan lnsung.
Bab lakonan dia plak, hmmm mcm emosi x smpai kcuali part dia ngis.

movie ni lebih kepada kesedihan Roy Mcbride (Brad pitt) yg ditinggalkan ayah astronaut dia Cliffard Mcbride (Tommy Lee Jones)...
Mungkin untuk rasa lebih dekat dengan ayah dia, Roy jadi astronaut jugak.. astronaut yg best, super tenang dan reliable.. mungkin sebab ada issue kena tinggal dengan ayah dia tu la, Roy jadi seorang yg terlalu komited dgn kerja.. jadi selfish dan distant..hingga bercerai dengan wife dia (Liv Tyler)... Liv takde function apa pun dlm movie ni.. dia keluar sipi2 je untuk tunjuk sisi emosi Roy aje..
cinematography movie ni cantik... tapi tak cukup nak kurangkan tahap boring movie ni.. dengan suara brad pitt narrate sepanjang movie ni pun monotonous.. pengarah buat mcm tu kononnya nak tambah feel penonton.. tapi jadi lagi boring..
plotnya simple je.. ayah dia, ketua Lima Project tu jadi psycho sampai taknak balik.. dia nak jugak cari intelligent life kat angkasa nun sampai sanggup bunuh semua crew lain yg cuba nak balik ke bumi..dalam proses berbunuhan tu la diorang gaduh sampai jadi chaotic kat angkasa.. kesannya sampai ke bumi hingga mengancam keselamatan seluruh hidupan di bumi..
jadi spacecom gunakan Roy untuk hantar mesej pada ayah dia untuk pulihkan keadaan.. kalau tak berjaya diorang nak letupkan je Lima project tu..
Brad pitt dah kena kick dari mission sebab dia emosi .. dia dah kena tinggal dengan spaceship yg dihantar untuk letupkan Lima project tu.. tapi dia dengan miraculous nya boleh panjat spaceship yg tengah berlepas tu... banyak la lagi scenes yg tak masuk akal especially towards the end..stars dalam movies ni termasuk la donald sutherland, tommy lee jones semua tu dibazirkan gitu aje.. mcm di cast dlm movie ni utk nak tarik penonton aje.. ada la beberapa tragedy scenes dlm movie ni tapi masih tak dapat selamatkan jugak movie ni.. siapa yg tak tengok lagi tak payah pergi la ke theatre.. tak rugi langsung

thanks for d review.. baru nak beli tiket.. x jadi laa... tgk cerita Mother yg Jennifer Lawrence tu pon aku dh maki wpon katanye art of bible origin bagai.. so yg ni pon msti aku x suka jgak. hehe..
most of us are still mesmerized with crita Astronaut, Outer Space, Intergalactic & stuff...
We set our hopes high....right...
But we can't compare to the following movies;

Cite ni kalau tak guna backdrop space tu, memang level karipulay je essence storyline dia. Tapi masa dia jumpa pak dia tu, aku suka suki speku ada possibility si Roy ni dok imagining things je pak dia idup lagi. At least interesting la sikit instead of straight forward camtu je kan. And yes Brad ni kalau gritty characters tu dia berlakon tak berapa nak sampai feel nya. Dia narrate pun keras kejung takde feel. Zaman Thelma & Louis dolu boleh gak harap nak fall back dengan gojes face dia tu. Sekarang dah kurang uumph ropanya so tak boleh nak distract penonton dengan bakat tak seberapa itew
