The Celestials are a race of godlike beings (Star-Lord’s father, Ego, being one of them). At the dawn of mankind in Marvel Comics, a Celestial called Nezarr the Calculator visited Earth and granted a certain number of prehistoric humanoids the ability to tap into cosmic power akin to the Infinity Stones.
Using that power, Eternals are able to augment their own life force, making them invulnerable and essentially immortal. Using psionic powers, they can manipulate matter at the molecular level to do almost anything.
Chloe Zhao (The Rider) is directing from a script by Matthew Firpo and Ryan Firpo, and Marvel’s Kevin Feige is producing The Eternals, which is based on the 1976 comic book series created by Jack Kirby. The comic follows super-powered and near-immortal beings known as Eternals and a rival group known as the Deviants that were created by cosmic beings called Celestials.
Note: The Eternals is expected to feature Marvel’s first gay superhero

“Everything after Endgame, and after Spider-Man: Far From Home, will be different and be unique, as we try to make every film. But seeing returning characters is certainly something we’re gonna do and want to do. But also introducing characters that the majority of the world has never heard of, much like Guardians, much like Avengers before we made Avengers. And there are lots of them. Eternals are one group, but we like the idea of introducing an ensemble, doing an ensemble movie from the start, as opposed to building up as we did with the first Avengers. More like Guardians, not tonally, but in terms of introducing a new group of people. You were asking about ’60s, and ’70s before. Jack Kirby did an immense, amazing epic with Eternals that spans tens of thousands of years, and that’s also something we haven’t really done, which is why that among many other things post-Endgame, we find appealing.”

butt "Natasha" Romanoff nih one of the important key person in Avengers. and pulak tuh...dilakonkan oleh Scarlett Johansson, top actress...
so production must have a want to let this character go into big screen...
people will sure go & watch....

Depa ni tergolong dari kaum2 yang purba, dimana umur mereka berjutaan tahun, dan mereka adalah seperti god-like. Antara kaum2 ini dalam MCU adalah:
Celestials (pupus, terakhir adalah Ego)
Titans (pupus, terakhir adalah Thanos)
Asgardians (hampir pupus, sekarang menetap di bumi)
Eternals (masih wujud)
