actual stat tu tak tau lah but 9% of malaysia's population is indian....and i guess abt 75-80% of the indians are hindus.

Really... 9% of Malaysias population.  I always thought they r more than that.  Actually one third of students at the school I worked were Indian.

Wooo.. I dont know there r so many Hindus in Indonesia n Jamaica...

well...it's not really surprising for indo and jamaica actually...

indo was predominantly hindus till islam came much later. in fact, u can still find hindu villages in central java and of cos, the bulk of the population is in the enchanting island of bali. but mind u, dari mata kasar, the hindu that is practised there is quite different from wat we see here in msia.

as for jamaica, the british(if my not mistaken, pls correct me if it's not true) actually brought a lot of ppl from india to help develop the country in terms of working in the construction of infrastructure such as roads and bldgs. and tho they may have lost the indian languages along the way, hindu is still largely practised there.
