GEMILANG...very the Dayang...as usual Dyg nyanyi ikut style & keupayaan dia...susunan muzik baru yg agak menyegarkan...

Komen judge mlm ni paling aku nyampah komen si PM tu. Ntah apa2. kalau suki dia ckp tu pilihan peminat. Kalau Dyg dia p compare ngan Jac plak. Apa2 ntah. Kalau Dyg dia ckp psl Dyg ubah melodi..kalau suki dia suruh ubah plak meloi. tak ke tak konsisten komen mm tu? Masa 1st performance tu Syafinaz siap sindir lagi paul.

Lagu gemilang tu aku suka cara dyg bwk.

Lagu DIL tu pun ok. tp lagu tu mmg byk wording. So mmglah ada yg terlupa d sana sini.mana ada penyanyi lagi yg boleh bwk lagu Beyonce sebaik Dyg. Coba suruh Ning bwk..mau terberak dia. Paul moss pun kalau suruh nyanyi, mau keluar muntah hijau.

And aku nak komen psl pemilihan lagu ni. Lagu2 ni bukan kita sbg pemiant yg pilih. 8Tv yg suruh kita pilih. Sbg peminat, kita mmg tau apa jenis lagu yg kita nak Dyg bawak. Ni yg dia org p awal2 letak lagu2 tu apa hal? Patut dia suruh kita sendiri yg choose apa lagu kita nak. Off course kita akan pakat2 request lagu apa kita na. Bukan klik kat lagu yg dia org sdah pilih.

Dayang's performance tonight met my expectations - own "unique" voice, great outfits (contradict to  Paul's comment on that green dress), good effort in attaching the emotions,  delivering Gemilang the Dayang's way and singing Beyonce's song better than any Malay singers that I can think of. Nice hairdo and looking pretty as even  though I noticed that she has put on some weight.

Of course non-Dayang's fans think that she has butchered "Gemilang." View these threads and you will know what I mean.

Dayang would have gone above my expectations if she had changed her hairdo tonight.  Maybe do up her hair and look more elegant and classy. (I was thinking of Julia Roberts in Pretty woman in the red dress when she went to watch the Opera).  A more soulful and deeper rendition of the songs would have made a better impact.

Being a Dayang's fan and an observor, I perceive a certain lack of confidence and a small amount of anxiety. There's so much insecurities among the contestants that Dayang must not allow these vibes to affect her. She has to stay focused so that she can work on herself.

I would suggest that Dayang digest the judges' comments that would help her improve in this competition.

Talking about "branding, " I think Dayang has created her "brand" or she would not have been recognized in the Malaysian music industry as an R&B singer.

Back on expectation - People expect many things but the most important thing is what Dayang expects from herself.

Final thought - As long as viewers and fans keep on voting her in, we are keeping her dream and hope alive regardless of what Paul, Shafinaz or the others are saying. Since the OIAM has sort of diverted its attention from "the nation抯 first ever reality singing competition on the lookout for a singing superstar" motto to who's more popular, let's join the crowd.

But at least when Dayang wins the OIAM, we will be proud to say that we have SMSed not only a popular but a Great Singer.

from the last nite show..

wpun reflect x suka pemilihan lagu gemilang tu, tapi she had deliver the song very nice, mervellous and more important she did it in her own style..tak perlu memaksa, n i like her way in expressing the song..especially when the time she 'kibar2kan' skirt yg meletup tu...

for dangerously in love...i like her singing this song when she first sang it in one tv show..if not mistaken time tu she did medley lagu2 beyonce.time tu mmg i teruja sgt bila dia nyanyi DIL tu, becoz i never listen to that song before.n of course , i expect her to do better than that.although it was not dissapointed, but i'm actually hope more from dayang.overall, dayang still the best contestant last nite with her great voice and singing style (wpun ramai ingat dia tiru beyonce)!

for the next episode, harapnya dayang lebih focus kepada direction music yg dia bawak and dia mampu utk exploit kualiti yang ada pada diri dia di tahap international..

1.dayang nervous tgk ning ada...kalo xnervous pon,cam xselesa la...
2.gemilang ok...tp aku stuju ngan paul moss,semangat lagu tuh xde...
3.dangerously in love ok....tp dayang nyanyi masa kat zoom in 2,3 thn lepas was
much much better...(again aku rasa dia terganggu dgn komen2 masa first
performance)
4.komen syafinaz pasal dayang n beyonce n destiny's child....aku rasa she meant
well...dia byk tolong dayang smlm compare dgn ning...

kesimpulan...aku rasa sedih ya amat kat dayang smlm,for what she had gone
through...dan sbg membalas komen syafinaz pasal originaliti tuh..aku rasa dayang
patut teruskan dgn brand R&B tuh,tp cuba nyanyi lagu2 selain dr beyonce n

keseluruhannya,persembahan dayang biase je.Nothing special.Takda lagi persembahan dia yang segah suvivor.But she still diva last night.Compare ngan bebudak lain.Lemau je cam biskut.Baju hijau tu cam pernahku lihat je.Cantik giler!!!Aku suka.Next week hope dyg bawak lagu rancak.Menari giler2.Merangkak cam beyonce ke...baru best!!!Go dayang!!!!

baju ijo tu dia pernah pakai masa PC filem Dayang. Dia ada nyanyi lagu masa PC tu tp tak tau lagu apa. Sama ada lagu tema atau tak tak pasti tp katanya Dyg akan nyanyikan lagu tema utk filem tu.

OIAM baju sendiri, aku rasa. kalau nak sponsor, mungkin peserta yg kena carik sndiri. kalau x pandai carik, jadilah mcm suk tu. balik2 baju yg sama.
