ni based on apa yang oobi tau sikit-sikit. intel core 2 duo tu ada dua, one for desktop and one for laptop. intel dual core itanium 2 tu setahu oobi digunakan untuk server. amd turion 64 x2 rasanya untuk laptop saje.
so, kalau you nak compare, you boleh compare intel core 2 duo dengan amd turion 62 x2 because it doesn't make sense to compare processor for server like itanium with processor for desktop/laptop.
klik Performance Benchmark between intel cour 2 duo and amd turion 64 x2.

well, for me it depends on what you want to do. i usually pay more attention to ram size and hard drive rotational speed. if you have the money, get a computer that allows you to have 4 gig (667 mhz) of ram and get a 10k rpm for your main hard drive. then use 7200 rpm for your secondary hard drive. processor, core 2 duo is more than enough. but if you want quad-core, go for it.
