Ahmad Izham Omar is the Head of Radio Network, Media Prima (HotFMand FlyFM) and Chief Executive Officer of 8TV. He was appointed in 2003to lead a television station set to revolutionise the local TV industryand is very quick to sense and address the needs of his audiences.

               8TV began transmission in January the following year. Since then 8TVhas been successful in acquiring a loyal and growing following, drivenby Izham's vision for 8TV to be the centre for talent creation inMalaysia and his single-mindedness in making it the hippest andfunkiest station in Malaysia. Since its inception, 8TV has receivedmultiple regional creative and production awards.

               Under his dynamic leadership, HotFM attracted 2.92 million listeners injust 8 weeks after beginning operations in February 2006, making it thesecond biggest radio station in Malaysia. He also made FlyFM the secondbiggest English radio station for 15 to 30 year olds just six monthsafter being on air.

               Before this, themultitalented, multi award-winning producer, arranger, songwriter andmusician served as A&R Director of EMI Malaysia and ManagingDirector of record label, Positive Tone. He serves as Vice-Chairpersonof MACP Bhd, a performing-rights collection society. Izham has alsohelped catapult the career of a lot of local artists including thewinners of Malaysian Idol, One In A Million and Project Superstar.

He is by far the youngest CEO of a television station in Malaysia. Aliberal minded person, he was the one who started bringing in realityTV shows such as Malaysian Idol.
He first became well known by being associated the vocal groupcalled Innuendo which he popularized and the music he brought was afresh start to the Malaysian music scene.
An idol to many young generation in Malaysia, he is now workingahead to more new touches in evelating the Malaysian entertainmentindustry.
