The season is almost over but the drama is not for the giant continent's Western-based stars...
Park Ji-sung (Manchester United and South Korea) :pompom:

What can you say? It was Park's third Champions Leaguesemi-final, his second goal but thefirst time he has scored and his team gone to the final. His strikeagainst Arsenal came just three days after another very well-taken goalinthe Premier League at Middlesbrough.

Masoud Shojaei (Osasuna and Iran)

The in-form Iranian hit the post but Osasuna are still in relegation troubleafter losing 2-1 at home to Recreativo Huelva.

Shunsuke Nakamura (Celtic and Japan)

Another game, another assist for the playmaker as Celtic cruised to a 3-1 winat Aberdeen to stay top of the Scottish Premier League.

Javad Nekounam (Osasuna and Iran)

Was up against it in midfield as Osasuna were reduced to ten men early in thesecond half but even the busy Nekounam couldn抰 prevent Recreativo scoring two in the last ten minutes to win 2-1.

Mehdi Mahdavikia (Eintracht Frankfurt and Iran)

The Iranian star made what is becoming a rare start but Kia could do little asFrankfurt lost 2-0 at home to Borussia Dortmund.

Sun Xiang (Austria Vienna and China)

Sun is injured and missed his team抯 0-0 draw with Mattersburg.

Takayuki Morimoto (Catania and Japan)

The young striker had a quiet game as the now-safe Catania were well beatenat home by AC Milan.

Youssef Mohamad (Koln and Lebanon)

The Lebanese defender had a good game at the back as Koln arrested a run offour straight defeats to win 1-0 against Werder Bremen and all but banish anythoughts of relegation.

Daisuke Matsui (St. Etienne and Japan)

The midfielder came off the bench for the lastseven minutes as Les Verts were held at home to a goalless draw by AS Nancy tostay deep in relegation trouble.

Hussein Abdulghani (Neuchatel Xamax and Saudi Arabia)

Returned to his team抯 defence but couldn抰 stop Neuchatel slipping to anotherdefeat
